Great laid back spot to grab some Tacos, order few beverages and unwind. Everyone will love the ambience, the service is great with great food. I have tried all their tacos, I would suggest to keep chicken right at the bottom. Pork is simply fabulous. Also check out the store. You will love the vivid collection.

As someone born and raised in Mexico, I was super excited to come across this restaurant in Toronto. I ordered a tlayuda which was described as “stuffed with cheese,” and it was incredibly disappointing. It tasted like it had been frozen and they had attempted to reheat it although not well because it was almost cold after just 5 minutes in the box. There was also no cheese to be found, and none of the delicious flavors of Mexican food were present. I’m giving it 2 stars rather than 1 because my husband liked his enchiladas. I tried them, but I didn’t love them even though they were definitely better than the tlayuda. Overall, super disappointed.

Being half Mexican we try not to eat out at Mexican restaurants so that we don’t get disappointed, my mom is a phenomenal cook but I would definitely come back to this restaurant! We dined in for dinner and although we waited a while the food was great! We ordered the rice with enchiladas, guacamole with corn chips, and the Birria tacos. Would give it 5/5 but we actually went to the Latin World store first and the lady there told us they didn’t serve food there which then the waitress at the restaurant across the street said there must have been a misunderstanding or she was new because they have daily specials. We ended up going to back to the store to get bingo cards that didn’t have a price when I first inquired and she was taking orders for $1 tacos, hmm - that’s bad business practice-don’t lie to the consumers! Anywho, the food was good, customer service from the lady at the store would be a zero and many of the products in the store don’t have prices on them…I wanted to buy soap but she wouldn’t sell it to me as there was no price and the boss wasn’t picking up.

Most friendly staff ever. I went to get Achiote paste for a recipe, and stayed for the tacos : They have plenty of Mexican and Central America items, prices are very affordable. I'm definitely coming back.

My friend and I dined at their restaurant across the street. The interior and exterior are both gorgeous and lure you in automatically. The customer service is great, our server was very nice and checked on us multiple times, asking how we like everything and refilling our table chips. Personally my biggest problem was the food. I’m vegan so I asked for whatever vegan option they had because I couldn’t read the menu since most of it was in Spanish. Our server recommended the cactus and hibiscus tacos. Personally I found them very dull and unflattering. It could be due to my unfamiliarity with the culture or that it was vegan therefore a lot of the required ingredients were taken away. I felt uneasy after having them so I ordered something else to take the taste away and I got the huitlacoche quesadilla , which is corn fungus. Because there was no cheese it just tasted peculiar and flavourless once again. Overall I loved the experience but despised the food.

Had lunch today with my adult chikd and food was absolutely delicious. Tasty spicy fresh flavors. Highly recommended, locations on Bloor east of Lansdowne and St. Clair Ave West and Ossington Vegetarian options: Who needs meat with these lovely choices

Cheap eats, authentic flavour. $1 tacos Monday-Wednesday, can’t beat that. Having two locations with different menus across the street from each other was confusing. Pro tip: The smaller restaurant on the south west side of Bloor has the $1 daily deals.Recommended dishesPastor Taco

The food here is amazing! Everything was fresh and tasty and the portions were of good size. the only downside was at the end of our meal we were notified that they didn’t accept cards especially during Covid which is weird- not sure if they were having issues with the machines or something because when we walked in there were signs that said they accepted cards. Would have been nice to have mentioned something before we sat down.

So surprised with the price and quality! Had a fantastic atmosphere and it was as authentic as can be. The flavors were amazing. Fresh Churros for wayy cheaper than the rest of the city too! I'm coming back ASAP

Gorgeous tacos, get the daily special at $1 ea but honestly try everything. They got incredible delicacies like beef tongue and more stuff you don’t usually get. This spot is a true gem! We are in love and have been going regularly for years.
