La Chingada

The cutest Mexican restaurant with reasonable prices in downtown Toronto. If you can try the restaurant in the happy hours and take advantage of 5$ tacos on the menu. They have kind / welcoming staff who are attentive and good at what they do. The tacos were pretty decent and all of us really liked our other dishes. They also have margaritas for 6$ in the happy hour which is a blessing. The roasted corn they serve is also pretty amazing. They also have all you can eat for tacos for 29$ and 5$ tacos on Taco Tuesdays. Overall I really recommend this place. The decoration was on point too and we took some fantastic pictures.

I stumbled upon this gem by chance and I had the most delightful experience! Fresh ingredients, amazing food, great service, good vibes, amazing atmosphere. Authentic Mexican kitchen. A must-try. The house hot sauces are perfection!!! Thank you! I will see you again! 5 stars, 10/10

I have nothing but wonderful things to say about this spot. My partner and I walked in on a Saturday night to a wonderful atmosphere, complete with a live performer singing beautiful Spanish music. Our server, Michaela hope I got the spelling right, was stellar from start to finish. Our drinks were delicious, and the apps came out promptly. Shortly after, we got our delicious tacos and devoured them. The food was absolutely incredible! We were actually celebrating my partner's birthday, and I actually didn't mention anything to our Michaela, but she must've overheard us and surprised my partner with dessert. She truly went above and beyond, and made our experience memorable. Thanks for delicious food and drink, a wonderful atmosphere, and superb service. I'll certainly be back and would 100% recommend this spot to everyone! Cheers!

Delicious Mexican food that's fair with the prices. Their menu has a bit of a selection and I love that they have AYCE tacos on Thursdays. Still haven't tried it but excited to. Service is friendly and efficient. I also love the ambience and their patio in the summer!

First and foremost, service was great. They were very attentive and consistently checking up on us. The baja fish, carnitas and pastor tacos were exceptional however I could not say the same for the barbacoa and carne asada tacos…both meats were painfully dry. Maybe it was an off day but we could barely get through them. Their guacamole was on the tangy side. Corn chips were perfectly crunchy and seasoned as well. Apart from the dry meat, everything tasted pretty fresh with an abundance of flavour. The interior design was cute, great atmosphere to come with friends. They have AYCE tacos on Thursdays for $29 and the tacos were bigger than expected so I guess you get the bang for your buck!

A great place to go to for tacos and apps to share with a group. The tacos were really good , and they had some unique ones. The barbacoa and shrimp taco in particular were really good. What makes this place 5 stars is the staff, they were very friendly and gave me and partner good recommendations.

The best street corn I have ever had! The margarita was to die for and I can't get enough of the Mexican potatoes! I also wish I had that bar setup in my house!

This Mexican drinking hole is a local favourite. The ambiance is both relaxed and lively, with fairy lights, art on the walls, and lots of wood accents. The cocktails are a highlight - they're creative, delicious, and the menu is constantly changing. Food wise, the fare is standard. We order some guacamole and tacos - fish, shrimp, and pastor.

Great place to dine in for Mexican food. Their Happy Hour is great too. Good service. Will definitely go back Vegetarian options: They have lots of options to choose

Came here with friends for a holiday dinner. Since it was Thursday we all did the AYCE tacos options. All the Tacos minus chorizo one were good. The Pastor taco by far is the best one. Our Server was nice and attentive. I will have to comeback and update this review as for all the Tacos I ordered I asked for no Cilantro on it, and 4 of the 7 Tacos I had came with Cilantro on it, so a little more attentionto details required by the kitchen staff. I reserve the right to update this review in the future, when I eventually return. Overall if you enjoy Mexican cuisine and Tequila definitely give this place a try. 6.5/10.
