I want to start first by thanking everyone that runs the camp, they are amazing people! From the moment we arrived until we left they were awesome! As for the experience, it was unbelievable! It was just my brother and I at our site, and over the course of the weekend we ended up meeting some of the nicest people ever. Everyone was friendly and laid back. After the concert Saturday night, one of the sweet ladies from the camp picked about 15 of us up in the shuttle (which is a nice little bus), and we ended up in the yard of the owners house with a large bonfire til about 4am, just drinking and talking to all the nice people we met. As for the campsite itself, if you are looking for a bare-bones, no bs great campground, this is it. It might not have hook ups, but it is well organized and very accommodating. They let you use there hose for water, let you use there home for a hot shower if needed, had port-o-potties, trash, etc. The drive to the rodeo grounds isn't that far, and the shuttle is awesome. We felt like a part of the family and will definitely be back next year. If you see two tall skinny guys in a black Nissan titan come say hi!

Called to get more questions on their camping and was hung up on TWICE. Will never be coming here there for sure.

Chris has been opening up her 22 acres and home (for hot showers) for FIVE years now!! Each year is better than the last. I have stayed all 5 years and watched the amazing growth and thankfulness of her clients as this is THE LAST CHANCE! Cheyenne is sold out for camping during Frontier Days and this has REALLY filled a need for Cheyenne. Chris' camp on the weekends is PACKED and she does offer shuttles so people can drink. This last weekend I watched in amazement as the SEVEN shuttle drives; 5 trucks and 2 cars drove as safely and quickly back and forth to carter to the drinking crowd after the nightly concerts. Chris at 2AM does require a quite time and sometimes it takes a bit to settle drinkers down! For anyone to offer their home and acreage is so stellar!! Way to go Chris & Steve, Y'ALL ROCK!! I'll be back every year!! Thank you so much for your excellent hospitality!

We stayed at Last Chance Camp last year for the Kenny Chesney concert and had such a great time we're going to stay there again this year for the Brooks & Dunn concert! The grounds and facilities were clean, the sites were labeled and well-organized, the Johnson family was incredibly friendly and hospitable, we met some fun new friends camping next to us, and you can’t beat the price! Rides to and from the fairgrounds are offered at a very reasonable rate ($5) for those who don’t want to fight the traffic or deal with parking. We also got a late-night ride home from town with Steve, the friendly shuttle driver, which was much more convenient and inexpensive than dealing with a cab! We can’t say enough about the Last Chance Camp – but maybe they should change the name to “First Choice Camp!” : )
