If you love Mexican Food, Las Palapas will not disappoint! Food is excellent, music is really good, much better if you can understand Spanish language and people are really welcoming! It's our first time here and will definitely be back!
This restaurant was the very first date that my current husband and I ever went on together, nearly 12 years ago! I remember him and I talked for an hour before we ordered. I ordered the extra large burrito. He said that was one of his clues I was the one. Now nearly 12 years ago - after marriage, life, and a baby we came to celebrate my birthday! I've come many times previous to this but it's one restaurant that will forever go down as history as "the place I found love". Delicious food and drinks. It will make you feel like youre in Mexico.
The food here is phenomenal the atmosphere is so vibrant it's worth just going to see the restaurant not even eating. The drinks were amazing the service was good overall it was a very pleasant experience I left very full
Fabulous family dining experience. Our server Anna was absolutely incredible! So friendly and helpful. Generous portion sizes and a great atmosphere. The steak strips appetizer and shrimp tacos were just like Mexico! Will definitely be back next time we're in town!Food: 5/5
I loved the ambience. Just wow.. You get authentic Mexican vibes. Food was good. Expected to be better based on reviews. We got Tacos, Enchiladas & Bowl. Overall had great experience ! It was a weekday that means there wasn't any rush. Someone wants to try mexican, this is the place to be !!
What a great experience! The food was amazing and full of Mexican flavors. There is alot of choices on the menu and a Taco menu that is $5.50 each, I ordered 4 different Tacos and they were all excellent. The coconut shrimp is a great appetizer. There is a big drink menu with a lot of traditional Mexican drinks. Pina Colada was spot on and the La Frambuesa was so good with Gin and Raspberry. my only complaint is that there is no kids menu so it was expensive for the kids to eat. Kid-friendliness: no kids menu so full adult price for kids to eat
Understaffed, and had roughly a 25 minute long wait time at peak hours. Had exceptional food, and a fun aesthetic, offers great outdoor dining, and very kid friendly environment, Great experience. two fish tacos and the Chipotle beef Parking: Limited parking
I would echo some other reviews thst parking can be a bit hard to find. There is 2 spots in front and then about 4 stalls on the north side of the building. I ended up just parking on the street on the north side. The vibe in here is quite cool. Neat decorations throughout the restaurant gives it a unique feel. I kicked things off with a Saskatoon berry mojito $1 off on Mondays and had the Chipotle beef burrito. The drink was excellent with a nice local flare from the Saskatoon berries. The price of the burrito is pretty reasonable but I found the burrito to be a bit on the small side for me. It was tasty though, electing for the side of sour cream. I would recommend someone ordering this burrito. To fill me up though I ordered two tacos. I went with the shredded chicken and the shredded beef pork both on corn. Both delicious, and about the size you would expect. The shredded pork came with Parmesan cheese which I found to be an interesting but tasty combination. Overall quite enjoyed this Mexican place. I would come here again for sure!
Tried for the first time, I wouldn’t say it’s authentic definitely. I got a chicken and corn burrito, It was good, good size. Friend got the Wednesday special Taco platter, he got 2 fried chicken and 2 fish tacos- chicken ones reminded him of 711 chicken just more spicy but the fish tacos were delicious, I got to try some too and I loved it as well definitely something I recommend! I wouldn’t say it was worth the money honestly but it was ok all came together 115$ got a michelada and peach snap? Can’t remember and they were good I couldn’t finish the michelada but I think others might enjoy it
