I got the Birria tacos and they were pretty good. I wish they were a bit bigger but other than that would recommend.

Great tacos! And good vegetarian options. Note in case this helps other out of towners looking for tacos: it’s the same establishment as shelter brewing. Look out for the little sign in the window. The beer at shelter is fantastic too!

Tacos are exceptional! Tried all of them ... just fabulous! Wish you did margaritas, as am not a beet drinker. Vegetarian options: Sweet potatoes tacos were so flavourful.

The Shelter...went to this place after leaving another we didn't like. OMG was it ever good. I ate 12 tacos they tasted so good. The confirm pork one was my favorite but I suggest trying them all. On Wednesdays they have 4 tacos for $10 so it is the best day to go. You can drink micro brewed beer very casual place. Bike riders can hang their bikes on the wall. Some of the seating is group so you may be dining with other peeps. There are more private tables too. When it is busy you sit where you can. Only negative I have is stools were hard and not comfortable for long periods. This is minor however and I recommend this place!

Was there last night, the tacos were amazing and the beer was good. The atmosphere in the store is nice and chill. The staff was really nice to us. I like the options for sizes when it comes to beer. Would definitely go there again.

Not a bad item on the menu here but the carnitas burrito, beef Birria the kind with the broth and kale salad are three of the best things about Saskatoon. More in the vein of good truck tacos they started as a truck than whatever they serve at places with a calavera on the sign or an all-inclusive resort. Really good value and informal but a super clean spot with good atmosphere and service.

The food is really good, but only 3/5 stars as the service was poor last time I visited.
