Lanie's Cafe

We were so happy to enjoy Lanie's patio area. Nicely shaded. The service was attentive. Their portion sizes are no joke! Definitely come hungry. We tried an appetizer, bacon wrapped shrimp. Perfectly crispy bacon. We each got a sandwich and they were delicious. Their homemade marinara sauce is excellent, great flavors! Looking forward to going back.

First time here from a recommendation and I was impressed!! The salad bar was fresh, the croutons and the bread were very good, but the infused butter was amazing!! Then came the meal. Ordered chicken parm with thin spaghetti. The sauce was thick and tasty and the portion size was huge!! I can't wait to go back again someday and try something else!

Reservation for six o'clock. We were seated around 6:30. The hostess kept us informed so this wasn't a real issue. Out of the five meals served one was great, the other three were cold, and one wasn't served until another 15 minutes had passed, a medium rare steak served well. This was an hour after sitting.

10/10 Restaurant. I’ve been here probably half a dozen times and have never once had a bad meal. The salad bar, the number of options, the pricing, everything is top notch. Kenzie was our waitress and she was excellent. Definitely try the nachos!

Great little restaurant. Apparently the high tables at the bar are the place to be. The hostess kept asking everyone if they wanted to sit there. We opted for a normal table. Sandwiches are fantastic. The grilled garlic toast is huge and simply makes a better sandwich. Prices are reasonable. Service was great. We'll head back again for dinner entrees next time.

Lanie's never disappoints in terms of food and service but tonight there was an extra nice surprise. When we walked through the door, we noticed that Lanie's is all decked out for Christmas 2022! The lights and decorations are beautiful, warm and welcoming. We enjoyed the whole dining experience tonight from beginning to end. Vegetarian options: Yes. Kid-friendliness: Yes, kids are welcome. Parking: There's plenty of parking available. Wheelchair accessibility: Yes.

We were seated immediately, even without a reservation, and the wait staff were great, unfortunately that's the best I can say. The Salad bar was barebones no croutons even, The Cheddar Broccoli soup was incredibly bland, The Chicken Riggies were slimy and didn't taste right, the New York Strip Steak was as flavorless as unseasoned ground beef, and the Fried ice cream had literal paper mixed in. The only reason it gets 2 stars instead of 1 was because our waitress was very nice.

My husband decided to take me there to celebrate our 20th anniversary. I first I felt out of place thought I would like the foods boy was I wrong. You know the old saying never judge a book by its cover. This place proved that. The server Chelsea W, was so wonderful and attentive through the whole night. The kicker was the food. Everything was so yummy. I enjoy every dishes and left with a belly full. Definitely check out this little spot out.

Welcomed upon arrival by the friendly hosts. Seated without delay. The server was friendly and attentive. The Chicken Parmesan was fantastic. Served while hot and still had a crunch to the breadcrumb crust. The red sauce is very good, actually better than very good. It's bright, the fresh tomato flavor hasn't been cooked out of it, but it's not harsh or acidic. There is also a depth of flavor there. Someone takes the time to make sure it tastes great. Parking: Nice large parking lot with plenty of parking available.

For a random Tuesday night, this place was jamming with activity. This place is a mixture of classic Italian style cooking with a bit of a pub flair. There is outside patio seating and indoor seating for those who want. The waiter was courteous and not overbearing at all; he was spot on with his service. The food was *almost* perfect. I ordered the special, shrimp and scallops with penne in a garlic cream sauce. My seafood was perfectly cooked, scallops were tender and flavorful, and the shrimp was not overcooked either. The pasta and sauce is why this is 4 stars instead of 5. Pasta unfortunately was overcooked and not al dente. Sauce was good and garlicky but tasted watered down. Overall I will for sure be coming back around to this place. Next time I'll order some of the more traditional Italian food and see if they can't knock it out of the park!
