Lampe Campground

Clean and manicured. Level. All paved roads and sites. All electric and water. Dump stations. Nice shower facilities. View of water, but no beach. Short walk to channel and pier for fishing. Already booked return visit.

This is the worst campground we have ever been in. We arrived at the facility and were assigned a spot. We parked there and after 2 hours we were told we had to move that another camper had reserved that site. They then assigned us another site. We parked there and were just getting ready to go to bed and at 11:45 there was a knock on the door telling us that we had to move again. After that fiasco, we asked for a refund and left. I will never recommend this campground to anyone, nor will I ever frequent it again. It is very poorly managed. If I could give it a minus rating, I would.

this is a suitable campground for RVs. it is in a weird industrial area but close to the water. the bathrooms are very clean and the showers are hot and super clean. however we were in a tent and it was the loudest campground due to being close to the laundry room and a very loud pump right next to our tent. it served us, but not super pleasant as a tent camper.

I so love this place. Awesome fishing. Relaxing. Camps. Water parks. Picnics. Swimming.

For a short stay it was very nice, power and water at sites with a dump station on the way out. Quiet for being right next to a marina and the city of Erie.
