Lakeport Fish & Chips

This place has really great fish, almost all types that I tried were great. However it's the fries that sink this ship a bit. They are very odd and just not tasty at all. Not a good choice for Fish and Chips, but a great one for just fish

Friendly service this time. Fries were plentiful but not very tasty even with salt added, and they were on the dry side. The fish (tried the haddock) was average portion, not seasoned, and the batter was thin. The coleslaw was pretty good if you like the creamy kind. I guess for $8, you can't really expect more than an average meal.

Ordered haddock dinner for pick up, quotes me over the phone for $42 dollars. Get there the young blonde boy says "Pollock dinner for $30" where I replied "I had asked for haddock and you quoted me a different price on the phone." With no apology he then shrugs his shoulders and says well I hit Pollock so do you wanna wait and I'll put the proper one in or is this fine." We had groceries in the car and could not wait, we get home and there was no condiments of any form in our dinner package or coleslaw. Safe to say not satisfied with the customer service and had we got the proper food order we may have enjoyed the taste more.

Stoney creek store super slow and not properly cooked paid $50.70 not worth it
