Lake Five Resort

My family has been coming here for almost 4 generations. I say almost, because in the past few years, the friendliness of the owner, Ron, has begun to decrease. We loved coming here for the camping, the accomidations, and the break from our busy lives. The good: RV hook ups, cabins, and recreational toys available. The bad: Random intoxicated people seem to wander aimlessly between camps. The owner has little regard for customer service.

Great location on a beautiful lake, with great swimming access. Sites are extremely close together. Heavily utilized by seasonal campers with multiple vehicles packed in common roadways, making it very difficult to access your site. Facilities were ok.

The beautiful lake makes this a great RV park! Swimming, paddle boarding, cayacking. Pricey. Hookups can be confusing. "Natural" state of grounds, no grooming. Many places to walk. Dog friendly. Only complaint was being forced to listen to manager's choice of 70's music he blared over over amplitheatre speakers one afternoon. Ruined my beach serenity. It's the 21st century...how about an ipod?

This is one of the most beautiful destinations on the continent! Peaceful setting, warm inviting Lake and a wonderful family ownership team that makes you feel like you have just come home!!! Thank you!

Had a great spot.. Walking distance from the beach.. Quality place i would recommend...
