Menu is fantastic- global, includes tofu options and is not pretentious. The workers there are pleasant, quick, and relational. We loved our orders— breakfast sandwich and steel cut oats. Went home with leftovers. The golden milk drink I got was healing and divine.
Love love this place. I got the golden milk with a shot of espresso-delicious! I also got the lentil soup which was great. Love the atmosphere and many more items that I will try in the future. This is my second time getting the golden milk and made me want to come back. Great spices in it with oat milk. Columnist cookie was fantastic as well.
I was looking for a quick lunch while my wife was having her hair done. I found this place while walking around the uptown area. When I walked in, I immediately felt like this place was a coffee shop. The staff was welcoming and immediately said hello to me. The menus are on the walls behind the front counter. I felt like breakfast so I order a mocha coffee and a breakfast burrito. They'll take your name from the computer when you pay. The tables are first come first server so grab any open table. I was a little concerned about the distance between some of the tables so I grab a table by the windows. My coffee was ready in minutes and my breakfast burrito was ready in about 10 minutes. Very fast. They will call your name when your food is ready. The burrito is not too big and it comes with soft lettuce, slices of avocado, and fingerling potatoes. The burrito was a tasty mix of black beans, bacon, cheese and salsa. The quality of the ingredients is what made this taste so good. Regarding the potatoes, they were lightly covered with a crema/sour cream and chives. The only thing I would add to this a small side of salsa to go with the potatoes. In summary, it was a great experience and the food is really good. Here are a few tips: - Water: This is sitting on a table in large bottles. Just grab a plastic cup and get your water. - Utensils: This are in baskets in front of the counter with knifes, forks, ketchup, etc. - Bathrooms: These are located in the back of the restaurant. - Dishes: There is a tray near the water for dishes. Clear your table and put it on the tray. - Juice: There is some fresh juice in a small cooler in front of the counter. I am going to try this next time.
All the staff were kind and courteous, helped us with any questions and recommendations. I really enjoyed my matcha latte, the steel cut oats were pretty delicious as well. This location is so beautiful and cozy I’m glad I spent my Sunday morning here!
A very delicious and friendly Cafe with a friendly staff. They made a very delicious and unique breakfast experience during my stay in Minneapolis. I'd love to come back and try some more.
Best tofu scramble I’ve had at a restaurant. The Made for Each Other with cardamom and vanilla was the perfect Sunday coffee. The staff are warm and fast with the food prep.
Pictured is Sanjeev, the owner. The cafe has been open since May 2021. His menu is as diverse as Uptown - only one item on the entire menu is above $10! Great affordable food in a relaxed warm environment! Sanjeev is there all the time - working working working! It’s businesses like Sanjeev’s that make Uptown unique. Please, go support this business. There’s even free parking in the back, if you drive.
One of the best local cafes in Uptown. Impressive food menu and the beverages are delicious and very high quality. Ambiance is really cozy with a fireplace and plenty of seating. I highly recommend!
The entire menu is priced well and all of us loved the food. I got the shakshuka first photo which was under $10 and it was incredibly flavorful. Dishes aren’t small, but they aren’t overwhelming. Solid presentation and very friendly staff! We look forward to trying the entire menu… Lol
This place is AMAZING! I had the extremely spicy noodles which really are extremely spicy but SO good! I also had the cardamom latte which was very smooth. Highly recommend this place which has a unique international menu full of flavor.
