Jajy Chicken Grill

Omg! The chicken here is so good! Tender fall-off-the bone and full of flavour. The rice is soft fluffy and flavourful too, just a bit too oily/greasy for my preference, but I still liked it, but would like it more with less oil, lol. The fries were fantastic. Nice and crispy even after a drive in the car. Coleslaw was super creamy. I loved the secret sauce. It was like a creamy chipotle. I got the double leg combo, half fries and half rice for $13.99. FYI: Jajy Chicken is currently a ghost kitchen inside John Juan Burrito. I went into the store to order and pay there but was told I had to order online. They were very nice and even pulled up the QR code for me to scan to order online. The website took me to UberEats, so I ordered on UberEats for pickup while I was sitting in the restaurant, lol. Beat bbq chicken meal in Ottawa hands down. The flavour and crispness of the chicken absolute perfection. And best value as well. Chicken was perfectly tender and falling off the bones, fries were perfectly crisp on the outside and soft on the inside, rice was flavoured perfectly and the coleslaw balanced everything out. Combo #2 could easily feed 2 people… oh and everything tasted soooo fresh! Like it was prepared from scratch at the time I placed the order - which is impossible because it arrived within 20 minutes I live in the neighborhood Amazing. You can tell the owners put their heart, soul and passion into their restaurant - not just something they’re doing on a whim. Kudos to you guys.

Just tried their chicken and my god, it's amazing. Chicken is tasty, rice is tasty, fries and dip is tasty. Excellent portions at excellent prices. This will easily become one of my regular places.

Juicy and tender chicken. The rice is packed with flavor from the chicken juices, delicious. Everything was served within 2 minutes. Amazing quality and service
