Lacalta Lodge

i’m posting this review on behalf of my grandfather, who of sound mind but 98 year old body, has been in the lodge for a year. he would, of course, rather be at home but was not safe alone. as he says of this lodge, “where else could i be and get everything i need?” safety, comfort, kindness, good people. bacon. especially bacon. as a family, we see that he is treated with respect and dignity, even during these difficult covid times. we do what we can to get him out safely here and there, and the staff are compassionate and conscientious. i truly hope they are rewarded as well as their care has rewarded all of us: more years with my grandfather. thank you all for your dedication. blessings to all of you for your work. may your kindness come back many fold.

I am not sure what to think. I just phoned to check on my Mom & to wish her a Happy New Year & No One seemed to know what or who I was talking about. It was like phoning a daycare & having children answer. The first person I spoke to let me go on for a few minutes before telling me she was just a cook, so she handed me off to an individual that I could not Understand & even though I told this Individual that I am hard of hearing & to Please Slow down, she DID Not. Then another woman got on the phone, sounding really unsure of what is going on with My Mother. I was told this was in the Best Interest of my Mom, not so sure that is True.
