La Laguna Family Mexican Restaurant

Very good, friendly service. Excellent food. Decent views of the mountain peaks from the outside dining. The waiter even asked us if we wanted to try the house hot sauces, and they were very tasty.

It was super busy (not their fault) and so service was really slow. Only three servers for a packed house. I'm pretty sure those three were host, waiter, bar tender, plating food, busing tables and doing dishes. I was impressed by their effort but they failed to do some basic things that would have made the wait more tolerable. We were quickly seated and brought water, chips and salsa. After 5 minutes, I got up and helped myself to menus that were never brought to our table. After 10 more minutes we were asked for drink orders. When drinks came, I asked for more chips. About 15 minutes later we flagged someone down to inquire who was assigned to our table because our order had never been taken. 5 minutes later someone came to take our order. I asked for more chips again because the first refill never came. The food finally came some time later. It was ok. We were never checked on again for drink refills. All around us, I kept seeing people going up to the servers asking when someone would be coming by to take orders, that it had been a significant amount of time and they were wondering if they had been forgotten. Finally, about the time we were leaving, they started warning new parties coming in that it would be a significant wait. Again, I think the servers were working hard, there were just little things they should have done that would have made me more sympathetic to the extreme amount of time it took to get our food.

Went in at about 7:15pm, only 2 other tables with customers. I was seated fairly quickly, my order was taken quickly, my waitress brought my food quickly. Then she left, never saw her again until I hollered at the till for someone to take my money.

Food was yummy! Owner was super cool! Ask for the family recipe sauce. They sell it as well!!! It's fantastic!

Nice atmosphere with outdoor seating. Standard Mexican and domestic beers. Enchiladas were really good - chicken and shredded beef. Really once of the nicer places in Enterprise.
