What a lovely discovery. We bought a selection of delicious pastries to take hone but then stayed to have a coffee on the lovely front terrasse. Pleasant, obliging staff. Lunch menu looked very nice and affordable - another time. Unfortunately they only bake bread on Saturdays but there are frozen loaves available along with quiches, pies and other goodies. Definitely a place to stop pff if you are in Richmond.
The best in Richmond ! Patisserie, boulangerie and the meals. There are so many to explore. A cozy welcoming ambiance.

La Dessert is worth the trip to Richmond.The setting is pretty, the food is amazing and the owners treat you like you are guests in their own home. Highly recommend this wonderful place.
What a wonderful find. Randomly stopped off the highway on the way home from Quebec City. The experience was that of going to a friend's home, a friend that makes wonderful home cooking. It's small and cozy. We were 8 people and we arrived without a reservation. They welcomed us and treated us graciously. Great home cooking, great desserts, canned preserve, local cheeses for sale. Cash only FYI.
We stopped on our way to Quebec City. A true gem. Homemade lunch and desert. Phenomenal experience. Delicious meal. And our waitress was beyond exceptional.
