Maiden Lane Wine & Spirits
"Lady of the Grapes is a cosy wine bar, French restaurant and wine shop located in the heart of covent Garden. We are focusing on organic, biodynamic and natural wines with a special emphasis on woman winemakers. All the 300 wines are carefully selected by Carole Bryon and her team. The seasonal food menu is created by James Lidsey and made to be paired with wines."

I've never been disappointed here. We've been here four times on different days, times, and both indoor/outdoor. The best time was on Valentines day for their set menu! Scroll to the bottom of my review for it. Our first time was after watching a musical nearby. We were hungry after the show, and wanted to find a nice place for a snack. We stumbled upon Lady of the Grapes and they luckily had a nice table available for us along the brick wall. Their interiors are a cozy wine bar with exposed brick. The low lighting makes the ambience intimate and a great date spot. We got several wines and a cheese plate - all amazing. Our second time was on the patio for a light meal. We got the cheese plate again and a tasting flight of wine. I loved how they gave us a map of where the wines came from! The only downside of sitting outside during the day was that there were multiple people coming up to us asking for money not part of the restaurant and certainly not the restaurant's fault. While sitting outside is lovely, just be aware! Our third time was for a light drink/snack before dinner. We didn't have a reservation, but we got a nice spot at the bar. Even though they were high top seats, they were just as comfortable as the normal seating and we got great views of their wine bottle collection and the wall of wine offerings. We got two red wines and the anchovies. I never thought anchovies, butter, and toasted bread could taste so good. ------ Our fourth time on Valentine's Day was the best yet! We got a table in the corner, so it was much more private than almost all the other indoor tables. The other indoor tables are very close to each other only a few inches away. They had a 5 course set menu with options to add caviar, cheese, champagne, and a wine pairing. We went with the cheese and wine pairing, but it seemed like they gave us the champagne anyways! The pairings were all great and diverse. We did get some French wines, but also got to try Greek wine. Food wise, I was surprised how vegetable heavy it was, and was nicely surprised that they were all spectacular. As a mainly meat and fish eater, the vegetables were some of the best. I can't recommend this place more. Can't wait to come back a 5th time
I had a wonderful evening at Lady of the grape , the staff is really friendly and feels like a real family. Food was delicious and really original, smoked beetroot was to die for & wine recommendations very much on point. Already one of my London favourite
Really enjoyed the wines I've tried. Great service and recommendations basis your wine preferences. Really liked the natural wines esp one from Portugal. Reisling was delightful. Recommend. Great place to people watch, chat and enjoy great wine. Hidden, not so hidden wine bar.
Excellent for a nice bottle or glass of wine. They have many options and a vast knowledge if you need a recommendation. We enjoyed a delicious cheese, bread and nut tray. Simple but tasty. A new favorite!
Great wine bar. Prices soon add up, but the location is great and so are the wines. Friendly staff. Tasty food. Decent amount of outdoor seating next to covent garden.
One of my favourite natural wine oasis in central London. The food is always delicious, with enough vegetarians options to keep it interesting at each visit!
A quintessential wine bar with warm ambiance, but a not-so-typical wine menu. Sasha was kind enough to try me on three different natural wines, with Putes Féministes hailing as the victor. Great service, wine, and location.
Great selection of natural wines and excellent food to go with! Super friendly staff always smiling and happy to serve you! I do not want to say more good things as I might get crowded! : Highly recommended!
Perhaps more on the pricier side but lots of lovely wines to choose from. Really good collection from some small but delicious producers.
Cosy place close to Covent Garden!Great selection of wine and lovely tapas!i definitely recommend!!!
