La Château

Had two staff help me while i was doing a quick in and out shop. It was the nicest retail service i have had in years. Not too pushy but available when i requested and big big smiles.

I was in this store today. As I was walking through an employee made fun of my hair as I walked passed. There was a full length mirror in front of me and I saw everything, also heard everything. I had just had my hair done and wasn't feeling great about it, now I feel horrible. What kind of person does that? I am in your store to spend my money, and you make fun of me? This makes me go else where (and I did). Le chateau is closing a lot of stores, and this is a small reason why. Customer service is no more.

ZERO STARS. Three points of contact for same sale leave bad taste. 1. Downtown store clerk did not tell me there are no returns, only exchanges/store credit. 2. Customer Service on phone militantly repeated the no return policy and said there should be signs at the cash registers stating so; she did not believe me when I told them the clerk had not verbally communicated at point of sale. 3. The store manager (Sunridge) who processed the credit did not make eye contact and was not courteous (no please/thank yous). Now I have a credit and a lesson learned: don't shop at Le Chateau.
