La Casita Mexicana

Went in for the first time on a date and this place is amazing for the food! Top quality and very fresh ingredients. Only reason I’m giving 4 stars instead of 5 is because the service could of been a lot better in my honest opinion. Will be back because the food was incredibly delicious and authentic.

Decided to give this place a try, and was really impressed. It's not to often we go out for Mexican but I'm really glad we did. My group and I started the evening with an order of nachos. At first glance I immediately noticed that the nachos didn’t have any meat on them, I must admit I was annoyed by this, but that initial disappointment quickly changed, the chips were tender , the beans tasty, and the cheese all went together really well, I really do wonder if they make the chips in house. As for our mains in ordered the steak Fajitas, the beef was incredibly lean and tender with a great mix of flavors, my partner ordered the Bandeja Paisa, the plate was large and the assortment was really good. The rice was well seasoned, the sausage went really well with the egg and the beans and beef steak really paired nicely. I definitely recommend you check this restaurant out if your looking for a nice Mexican dinner

The food is tasty and the place is nice. I give them 4 stars because I think the appetizers are a little overpriced. However, the dishes flavours are outstanding and ingredients are very fresh.

Amazing food, for being Calgarians it seemed pretty authentic. Service was very friendly. Great flavours. We tried 3 large meals and shared them between the 4 of us. Plenty of food for our party.

I had a wonderful experience at the restaurant. I was only able to get a take out, as by the time I reached, it was close to closing time. But the staff was so kind they accepted my order. The atmosphere was nice and cozy.Food: 5/5

After looking at the menu online and the reviews we decided to check this place out. The placed seemed like it was getting close to closing since wasn’t very busy just party beside myself and my partner. Service was very well, food was delicious and loved that me and my partner got to try plantains for the first time. Definitely recommend and will be back

Ordered take out and was very pleased!Delicious food. The pozole was excellent and the empanadas were some of the best that I've had, the dough it's light and perfect texture. Chicken enchiladas were very tasty, but would prefer if they were rolled vs. folded taco style so they did not fall apart. Will definitely return and try some of the other dishes!

We enjoyed an excellent Valentines dinner there. The service was great and the food was very tasty, we had the Paella and the Enchiladas. Several groups ordered the Hot Pot and that is something that we want to try next

My fourth visit to this restaurant let me down, very different from previous visits. The quality of food and service were not consistent to past visits. Watery margaritas. Enchiladas which were not properly prepared and service that was rushing to get our party out. I hope this was just due to the volume of guests.
