La Cannoise

I rediscovered this place now that it has new owners. The 'choux à la crème' are heavenly and I find the prices rather reasonable for the quality. I also love the baguettes but haven't tried the homemade chocolates yet.

The prior owners of this location were welcoming and nice, the food was well worth the money that you were paying and there was this sense of community to the place. Now the owners changed, the food got more expensive and the owners seem kind of lost, to the point where we went from being served on a ceramic plate to a Styrofoam one. The baguettes are nowhere near the same as they were before and all the recipes changed. Very sad and disappointing, A big loss for Hochelaga.

Très déçu également par les nouveaux propriétaires. Les prix sont plus élevés qu'avant et la qualité n'est vraiment plus la même. Les cheesecake et tartelettes ne sont pas frais de plusieurs jours.
