La Bakeri

Got a ton of canolli from here, in the flavours of pistachio, espresso, Oreo, Nutella, chocolate dip, salted caramel, and regular. They were a hit. Good cake too, but the attention went to the canolli. As the place is known for their scrumptious canolli, if that's what you're looking for, you won't be disappointed!

While the carrot cakes and mini cheese cakes I got were delicious, the main reason for visiting birthday cake La Bakeri was disappointing. The ordering process in store and pick-up was smooth had everything waiting for me on time, the store is bright, clean and staffed by very friendly ladies. The birthday cake itself must be an European thing, was overly light, lacked any flavor and the frosting was terrible. A birthday cake IMHO should be a little sinful.. decadent. Not this one. I have no clue what the sort of custard correct word? center was, as it wasn't sweet nor had a real flavor to it. BLAND? It was a beautiful cake to look at, just not to eat. We blew candles, sliced and dumped.

unprofessional, unfriendly, rude staff, got a ready to go vanilla cake, my cake seems like weeks old and the custard filling was stale. Be aware, not a recommendable place, not a good place, not good people, absolutely not even one star! prices are rip off based on other bakeries in town and the quality! no selection for cakes- not a place to order any occasion cake!

I picked up my mother's rum bday cake today as our regular place closed down. She loved it and said it was way better then the other place. It was very fresh and the decoration was beautiful. Thanks for an amazing product.

I ordered a variety of Italian pasties to share with my work on my birthday. They were very accommodating and cut some of them smaller for a better snack size. They were very delicious and authentic! The reason I am giving it only 3 stars is because I asked for the total to be around $30, but it came to $47! A lot more than I was expecting to spend.

Their sweets have been an integral part of family celebrations for decades. The only place to get more authentic cannolli is in Sicily itself.

This place is great. I had never been before but was looking for an authentic Italian rum cake. Placed an order online through their website on a Thursday for a Saturday AM pickup. Showed up Saturday and the cake was brought right out to the car. The whole process from ordering/paying online to curbside pickup was very easy and user friendly. Now for the cake it was absolutely delicious and looked beautiful. It was exactly what I was hoping for. The price was very very reasonable I only paid $27 for the cake and that was tax in and a 15% tip. I got the medium sized cake there were a bigger and smaller option available. Overall I was very pleased with the website, pickup and product. Will definately be back in the future, looking forward to trying some of their other treats.

Best Italian pastries without a doubt. I prefer La Bakeri's cannolis, rum babas, and rum balls over any other Italian bakeries in the region. And I'm addicted to La Bakeri's rum cakes. Everyone, you need to try this place! You too will become addicted to you favorite pastry. I have been a customer since the 1980s and have never been disappointed.
