Kurdistan Shawarma

Came by this place due to the high reviews, but seems like it's overrated. Ordered the chicken dinner plate and found that the chicken was dry and some pieces were even hard with a burnt taste. Maybe I got unlucky because the guy just reheated the pre-shaved chicken pieces that were already sitting there. Service was good and portions were great.

Easily the best chicken shawarma I have had in Toronto. Good portion, filling. The best is the beet root tahina spread on the bread. The staff Payal/Noor jehan and the owner were very friendly and courteous.

The food was delicious! Great flavours, very fresh. Ordered the beef plate and the kebab plate. Generous portions—one large meal or two medium meals. The owner was very nice too.

This place is AMAZING! Ordered the chicken plate and it was SO fresh and delicious. Vegetables are fantastic too. The service was amazing! Such a clean, safe and comfortable environment. Will definitely be back!

The worst shawarma ever, this is the first time and last time, the rice is bad and the meat is worse, I wast even asked what to ad for my salad, the restaurant smells when you enter, very bad experience

These guys were an amazing spot when the original owner was still around. They had a different taste compared to any other joint in the city and the owner was such a nice guy. No idea what these new guys are doing but it’s complete trash now. Gave them a few chances after ownership switched but they don’t care about quality or have any sense of customer service/awareness. Everything is stale, flies all over the place and the owner doesn’t listen to a word when you tell him your order lol. Guess they thought it was gonna be easy but the newer reviews are starting to say otherwise

Awesome! Absolutely delicious! Just went for the first time. My friend and I split the 2 chicken shawarma combo for 10 bucks and we're really impressed. Was thinking they might be small because of the deal but it was a great portion size and very flavourful. Staff was also very friendly and welcoming. Definitely gonna go back again. And again. And again.

Some of the best shawarma I've had in a really long time. Everything was really tasty and fresh and I will for sure be ordering from here regularly. The only problem I have with this restaurant is that you can't customize your order on any of the delivery apps, you have to know the toppings ahead of time and either call them or put it in the instructions. If they can fix their menu on the apps that would be perfect.

Nice fresh food, friendly staff & great prices. The wraps are pretty big. The chicken plate is now my favorite...it's delicious and a lot of food the money. I eat as much as I can for lunch, then finish it for dinner. Not sure what they put in the rice but it's really tasty. A great place to feed the family on a budget. Edit: my recent meals haven’t been as good quality as they originally were, so I’m revising to 4 stars. Hopefully the food gets better, I’m leaning towards their competitor a few doors down.

This is my go to spot for Shawarma for a while now. The owner is a really cool guy and you can tell he puts in a lot of hard work into the place. The restaurant is extremely clean, the food is delicious and the portions are generous. 5/5 highly recommended! Edit: I believe the management at Kurdistan has changed and it is no longer my go to spot for Shawarma. The last two times I went there, the wrap was not well made at all. The quality of the produce they use has drastically dropped and the meat tasted super bland.
