Shawarma West

1. I ordered chicken swarma plate: chicken were burnt and tasted bitter. I had swarma in several parts of the world, this is the worst I guess. 2. I would not recommend this shop. There are other better places to try out..

Weekly customer and I love this place but why are the wraps getting smaller? I’d rather pay $1 more and have a normal size. Photo for comparison. Its definitely not a regular wrap and it’s happened twice in the past week :

I took a chicken shawarma plate, it was pretty disappointing.. a large is filled with lot of oily rice and a small portion of cold dry chicken that was already cut in the corner. The meat wasn’t freshly sliced at the order. Large would be a usual medium size while a medium would be a small. There’s definitely a lot of spots that are better.

Unfortunately not one of the top chicken shawarma wraps that I have had. Firstly the chicken is can do with some more marination. The wrap should be grilled for more time to make it crispy. The team here is super fast with making the wraps and if not grilled for too long, the wrap can lose its flavour. The toppings were great but the sauces were not the best. I encourage the team to look into the meats and the grilling section to improve their wraps.

It is really bad quality food, veggies were not fresh, rice smelling different and little bitter in taste, i would suggest do not go there and fork in not good quality, because it broke while eating i would have eaten the broken part of plastic fork, it is really risky to have food from there for your health. Great quality, portions, and value. Definitely a step above the typical downtown shawarma spot in quality and freshness. The meat is seasoned and cooked perfectly, tender with some slightly crispy pieces. Shawarma wraps are huge with a nice meat to topping ratio. Aside from the actual chicken, the rest of what we had was a little bland. On the rocks is decent but definitely not their specialty - the garlic/white sauce doesn't have much taste and there's not enough. Despite this we still really enjoyed our meals. I'd stick with the wrap next time and overall a great option for Shawarma and you likely won't be dissapointed!

I ordered chicken shawarma plate via doordash.14 March 2023. It was simply a terrible experience. The rice was stale and smelly and much salty to the point I had to throw it out. It was sticky, which is not usual. I'm a regular of this store, I ordered from here a couple of times through Uber Eats and doordash. I previously had complaints regarding the food being overly salty. However, this time around, my whole plate turned out to be a mess. The rice smelts bad and sticky, salty, and I added taboule for an extra buck and was given a sprinkle of parsley. If this is how a regular customer is treated, then I don't want to order from here ever again and lose any motivation to say good about this place.

Ordered the Chicken Shawarma plate and fries. Pretty good. It's one of the most flavoured Shawarma plates I've had in town. Fries were okay. Portion size - Very good and filling. Presentation - Very good. Staff - Helpful and courteous. Location - good and accessable. Price - Decent/slightly up but worth it. P.S It's HALAL!

I just ordered through Uber eats and I feel so disappointed. The portion was small, I just check the photos and portion looks bigger than what I got. Food was dry and they put me like 4 fries only in my combo. Half spon of rice and literally nothing of salad . Chicken didn’t have flavour at all . I tasted burned. I don’t know if it was because some new prepped my food or just they don’t care. I wanted to try another option of shawarma but honestly I regret so bad . I just waste my money. I will never order anything again from here.

The food was phenomenal. I was soo freaking amazed. The best shawarma place I ever been to and that's saying something because I've been to a lot of them. On top of that, the staff was so friendly and caring. And the atmosphere was neat and fresh. I really had a wonderful experience!Food: 5/5
