So I've had it once years ago, then a few times when they reopened. Still taste amazing. Prices are fair for the most part. I wish the cut slices were bigger. But when you do buy it. Tell them to " Make it Dirty ". It's worth it! Hoping they get delivery as well.
$50 for 2 medium pizzas, seems a bit crazy. Can't call ahead and place order because they seemingly don't answer their phone, so you show up there just to be told it's a 2 hour wait for pizza because they don't have enough staff clearly. After all that, the pizza is good, it's not great, and frankly not even as good as it was before it closed. I'll pass on this place from now on.
Really good but unfortunately WAY too salty. I wish I could finish our dinner but it's giving me a headache. Next time we won't be doing garlic butter on the crust and no cheesy bread, or maybe we just got an extra salty batch of the garlic butter. Quick service and great portions though!!
I like my pizza the same way I like my women, big and dirty! This is the best pizza I’ve had, hands down! I will be back for many years to come!
Always delicious!! Only 4 stars cause I feel they don’t always answer the phone and hours of operation don’t seem to be consistent.Recommended dishes5 Dollar Pizza Slice
literally the best pizza i have ever had. my boyfriend isn't from here and likes to try pizza from different places and this is by far the best in windsor or maybe even anywhere. just absolutely wow. the garlic crust is incredible. Vegetarian options: it's pizza so it's customizable and they have lots of veggie toppings
"OMG! Krusty's is back!" is the gist of the word of mouth that has been going around since they returned earlier this year. Even my son, a student at nearby Walkerville Collegiate, often sang the praises of Krusty's. Apparently he stops by often to grab a slice or two on his lunch break. Admittedly, I never had tried Krusty's during their first iteration at this location. I have a couple of reliable pizza places I go to, but now and then, trying something new is the spice of life... or so they say anyway. Supporting a local neighbourhood business is always good too, whenever possible. And so, I decided, on what I assume to be one of the biggest pizza nights of the year New Year's Eve, to partake in the triumphant return of Krusty's Pizza. And... what a mistake it was. The pizza was very greasy. The pieces seemed unusually pliable, for pizza. You expect a pizza piece to perhaps folded in on itself, but this pizza's collapse was above and beyond. The toppings, while generous, very rarely stayed in place on the pie. Most of us ended up using forks to aid in it's consumption. It was a ridiculous mess and quite curious, as the product seemed adequately cooked. Now, that said, it was a good pizza in the taste department overall. I liked the sauce, the extra pliable crust was ok, and once you heaped the toppings back onto the pieces, there was some good taste but still a lot lacking. And a lot of what was missing was exactly the thing that seemed to be ballyhooed the most, the garlic they'll add to the pizza upon request. What garlic? I say. We barely saw any evidence of it on the crust, let alone tasted it. They'll tell you to "go dirty", and have the garlic applied to the entire pizza. The only dirty thing here was more or less tricking us into trying your establishment largely on the basis of that claim. The lack of garlic left you with bland and weak dough. We often get whatever bread stick or equivalent a pizza place offers, and Krusty's was no different. What was different is that we absolutely had to utilize the dipping sauce to make their "Krusty Bread" at all enjoyable. Usually I find that there is no need for the included dipping sauce at most places, but not here. Without it, it was as if you were just eating some warm dough. The lack of garlic was startling. Even my fanboy teenage son seemed quietly disappointed by the whole fiasco. To top it off, it wasn't exactly the best deal around pricewise. While not an abject failure, it was definitely a miss. We'll be driving a little out of the way to our reliable pizza haunts for the foreseeable future and skipping Krusty's. It definitely does not live up to the hype.
Mike ....is the BEST!! Krusty's pizza is soooooooo Good!! Absolutely feel in love with his sauce and garlic spread. Or as Mike says " you want it Dirty?" It is SPECTACULAR!! WE HIGHLY HIGHLY HIGHLY RECOMMEND krusty's Pizza!
Always great pizza make sure to ask for it "extra dirty" owner is awesome and glad they finally reopened after a couple years being closedFood: 5/5
Ok I don't know what the pizza was like before but this is what I can tell you. I stoped in here with a coworker and he got a slice for his lunch and to me it didn't look like it was cooked enough. But I ordered a small pizza with what I wanted on it and all I can say is WOW it was a big difference on how the pizza was from the way it looked. Well this is my opinion and my opinion only the lunch time pizzas that you cook and sell slices of should be cooked be cooked abit more. This is why I only gave it 4 stars out of 5. But I'm sure this could be fixed. If cooked abit longer it could be moved up to 5 stars on slice only..
