Koopman Lumber and Hardware

Great Store. Not as big as the larger “chain” stores, but this is largely what I like about it. Koopmans has a great variety of items in stock across their (locally based) stores. What they do not have, they can usually order. The staff is very friendly and helpful… And quite knowledgeable. A refreshing change from those chain stores! I used to live in Metrowest, and I was spoiled by Diehl’s Lumber and Hardware - a family-owned business. I chose to go there more often than not instead of the chain stores - because of the knowledge of the staff there. I was sad to see that when the next generation inherited the store, they sold it instead of carrying on the business. I am happy to say that I am again spoiled – this time by Koopmans Lumber.

Nice little hardware store in Grafton. Has pretty much all the things you need for your home improvement project. It's not a big store compared to big-box retailers but if you're in the need for some tools, go here. Would recommend this place greatly.

Knowledgeable and friendly staff have worked for the company for years. Their experience is better than a big box retailer. The drive through lumber yard has a greater selection than a big box store.
