Canadian Tire

Bought a brand new snowblowerand the belt blew on it so now we are Trying to find a replacement part for it, the Belt. We have made multiple trips to UCT and spent hours upon hours with staff that lack the knowledge to help find the correct belt. They refused to return the product as they consider it used. At the time it broke was within its first few uses, and they refuse to exchange it or refund the money We also made trips to other places paying out of pocket which also cost us gas money and time and Canadian tire Uxbridge still refuses to help. My husband spent over 2 hours yesterday with UCT staff trying to find the proper belt and they still can’t get one.nThis item is worth over $1600 and I’ve been a lawyer loyal customer to Canadian Tire Uxbridge for 30+ years and they have ruined my faith in the staff. Not happy with the new management of this store.

This review pertains to the Auto Centre. Terrible customer services and given misinformation. I came in to have a vehicle safetied for the road. They didn’t pass it, I was told a long list of things that were wrong. One of the mechanics not sure of the name was showing and explaining to me everything. His demeanour and attitude were not appreciated. He almost seemed happy about the fact that it wouldn’t safety, and seemed to get a sense of satisfaction while explaining about how much money I was going to need to put into the vehicle. I asked a couple questions which were mostly answered with “well how am I supposed to know”. After going to another privately owned mechanic, I was told half of what I was told at Canadian tire wasn’t true or accurate. Canadian tire also took over 3 hours to review the car, despite having a pre booked appointment.

As we can plainly see Canadian Tire Uxbridge really promotes saftey to young kids. As was the case with a small child coming out of Tim Hortons only to say a Canadian Tire associate walking around waving at people on top the big snow mount and the small child asked if he could go up there also. Real good job CT..... NOT.

Shout Out to the service Team Starting with Desmond and his leadership that sets the tone followed by Brian and his determination to get to the bottom of the issue. They could have charged me for expensive parts but Brian and team were convinced there was a different issue and their determination resulted in their resolving the issue and saving me hundreds of dollars. Thank you team for your honest and excellent service

Horrible service, pulled Christmas lights off the shelf’s before other locations, and wouldn’t sell me in the product when it says they have it online in store. They also rudely told me “not to expect anything”. And came back within a minute. Didn’t even bother helping me.
