I am absolutely appalled with the service I received at Kohls today. I went in to buy some clothes for my younger brother because my mother has cancer and she can't do this. We spent around two hours choosing out the clothes. I went to the register like I always do and the woman at the counter looked at me in like she decided she didn't like me because of my age and barely smiled. I felt like she didn't like me already. She asked to see my kohls charge before she scanned any items; this has NEVER happened before. She asked me if I was an "authorized user" and I said I was using my mom's card. Then, without telling me what was going on, she got on the phone and called someone. Then she got off the phone and told me I couldn't buy any of the items because I wasn't an "authorized user" and I told her I have used my mom's card multiple times and no one said anything to me. She said I would have to get my mom to come in to buy the clothes and I told her that she couldn't because my mom has CANCER and she can't go out in public right now. The woman showed absolutely no sympathy or care and repeated that my mom would have to come in. My 14 year old brother and I were completely taken off guard by this.That honestly made me very upset. I cannot believe the lack of humanity in this woman. I work in retail and I would never treat someone like this. UPDATE...... we came in the next day and Shannon (the manager) provided amazing customer service. She gave us an additional discount for our inconvenience and apologized. My family was seriously considering cutting ties with Kohls, but because of Shannon's kindness, we will continue shopping at Kohls. I would like to give Shannon's customer service a 5 out of 5 stars.

The experience was very pleasant. The employee at the checkout was very helpful, happy, and served us in an excellent manner. Her name was Robin, and because she had a great attitude, she made our experience very positive.

Very clean and well organized! Stephanie the Store Manager was so kind and helpful the whole time. This honestly might become my new go-to Kohls store after such a great experience today!
