Had the vegetable udon and vegetable roll which were both delicious. Green tea tasted great as well. Service is good and server does not check up often which I enjoy, but I know others enjoy a more attentive server.
Excellent casual dining. Usually get the all you can eat option @ $30/each and tea for me and the hubby when we go out but the al la cart options are just as good and include a few extra items. The sushi and sashimi has never been not fresh and their variety of cooked options are both tasty and well portioned. Service is friendly and there is rarely a long wait for orders.
We’ve been to every sushi place in Airdrie and this is still our favorite. Always fresh. Generous portions and good value. I don’t bother with all you can eat as I’m always satisfied with several rolls and always leave full.
We been coming to this restsurant for over 12 years and we stayed loyal customers. Till today. It is unheared of that for a squirt of spicy mayosouce the owner charged me $2 +GST. I understand prices going up but for ONE squirt of spicy souce enough to fill 2 teaspoons to charge this amount is just greed. She probably saw the cash in my hand and when I offered to pay for the sauce she took advantage of my need to wanting to buy some by charging me an unjustifyable amount the amount of carton of small eggs or milk to put it in perspecrive. Needless to say, I left the sauce for that matter of fact I left the owner the money for the sauce as well just to leave as soon as I can. When I called to talk it over she just kept telling me how prices went up etc.. shrugging me off and not giving a cent of how she behaved was something she should reflect upon and adjust. Yes I get the economical situation but not this price hike for a squirte of simple mayo sauce.This is just pure simple greed. Needless to say, never going to be coming by this place ever again. What a shame she could not see how greedy she is towards customers who supported her business over the years. Just disheartening, so disappointing to see this degree of greed.
My husband and I love coming here! The food is always so delicious and we leave feeling satisfied. We always get the all you can eat for 30$ a person. Well worth the money. I think its the owner that is usally here when we are and she always gives outstanding service. Would totally recommend this place to anybody who is looking for great sushi and a great atmosphere!
The kitchen staff seems great, food is very good. There is one lady... who must be the owner or something cause any smart employer would fire her. She served me the last few time I’ve been here. She is always dressed in grubs, rude, drags her feet when she walks, and right now I’m sitting in the restaurant, I can hear her clipping her nails in the booth next to me. Also, she brought me all of my food while she was on the phone. She forced me to pay one time and made it seem like I was going to dine and dash. The only reason I come back is the all you can eat and good food. But she is by far the worst customer service I’ve ever witnessed No tip
Used to be excited about getting sushi here, like my go to take-out sushi. Went here early this year and did not live up to past standards, something changed. Not as great as I recall. With growing local competition, it's not in my first picks anymore soley based on food experience.
Banana tempura and pork gyoza were fantastic. Everything else was just meh. The tuna belly was almost frozen and the unagi did not taste fresh at all. Service was very friendly
Really loved the all you can eat sushi, but my friend and I definitely didn't appreciate that the service was indiscreetly rude. At one point the waitress took a phone call in the dining room - we were the only patrons, so I guess she thought this was a great time - and it sounded like she and whoever she was talking with were having a heated debate. She checked on us three times, and we felt uncomfortable because she was clearly watching to see that we weren't sharing as only one of us had ordered the all you can eat special. Would have loved to give this place a higher rating because the food wasn't that bad, but the service ruined it for us.
I do wish their rice was better, sushi is always falling apart because of the quality of the rice & not a tight wrap. And I wish their fish was fresher seems too mushy. And they need not put so much sauce on some of their sushi dishes. They are good I do like eating from here, its just it use to be better. They just need more attention to the quality of their food. Ill try eating from here again in awhile & see if they have changed their quality & freshness from listening to their customers concerns & suggestions
