Kingsfield Chinese Cusine

Our first dim sum lunch here and food is of quality and tasty. We ordered 6 dim sum dishes and a stir fried rice noodle with fish maw and scallops big and not thinly sliced and scrambled egg egg white. Everything we ordered was good, worth special mention was: steamed pork ribs with preserved olives super tasty, fried dumplings very crispy for glutinous rice skin and mango glutinous rice balls was yummy. The service was good, server came to change our plates as we had the pork rib bones on them. While the decor is contemporary and pleasant, I do agree with other reviewers that the tables were set to be a bit too close for my comfort deducted 1 * but I have seen worse. Although there is not a huge menu selection for dim sum, there is enough that I will return and may be also try dinner another time. Stay tuned for next review.

Came for dim sum on Sunday morning. Luckily we made reservations as the restaurant is packed. The food quality is not bad, but I was quite thirsty after. The waiting area is very small, so we had people standing directly next to our table, leaning on our chairs, and literally breathing on us. Price wise, I guess it's average to above average.

A very busy place for Dim Sum lunch, packed with patrons with large tables, limited waiting space, large group may have to wait outside. Great quality Dim Sum, some innovative new variations of traditional items. Service is very attentive with friendly helpful staff.

My group came here for dim sum. The food is very standard, not sure it justifies the price you pay for it. None of the dishes stood out. They have their own take on turnip cake that is deep fried but it's more chewy than crispy. This place is okay if no other nearby options.Food: 3/5

This was a newly opened Chinese seafood restaurant. I came here to celebrate Mid-Autumn Festival with my family. We made a reservation in advance so we were seated quickly after we arrived. The open area of the restaurant wasn’t too big. I noticed that they have a few private rooms to host big parties. The food quality was good and the portion was reasonable. The tables were quite tight and not much space between each table. It was crowded and the ambience wasn’t too relaxing. Consider it on the pricey side, the service was not good enough. They did not provide any service to us except for taking our order and delivering the food to our table. Other than that, there was no service at all. The servers did not add hot water to our teapots or change our plates. Nobody pay attention to us to give us the bill or take our money as requested. Hopefully they can improve on their service and provide better customer service in the future. Recent Lunch Visit: I came here again to try their lunch dim sum because we heard the dim sum was very good. Even though we had no service last time, we decided to give them another chance. After trying everything, there is no doubt that their dim sum was very high quality and tasty. It did not disappoint us at all. The waiting time to be seated was extremely long during lunch time. Luckily we arrived a bit early to avoid the long queue. They do not have early bird discount for dim sum so, it was more on the pricey side. Somehow their service was slightly better during lunch time than dinner time. They seemed to have more servers. Lol

Ordered a set dinner menu for a group of 10. Tasty food and good service. The night I went the courses came out in a well paced manner, food was hot and tasty and the waiters did change our plates twice throughout the meal. Good portion sizes and good quality, my fave bite of the night is probably the fresh steamed fish- cooked to perfect just off the bone texture. The Peking duck combo was decent, you can pick a second course from the duck ie lettuce wraps or stewed. My main gripe is that they don’t provide enough skins the taco like soft wrapper for the first course!! And it takes 20mins to get a second set of skins, so order double the skins in advance!! Regardless, would recommend people to give this place a try for dinner!

Tried their dim sum today. Not many selection on the dim sum menu. The tables are quiet close, I do not feel too comfortable as our table is quite close to the entrance. The food quality is just average but it's pricey. Nothing much special.

First time coming to this chinese restaurant for dim sum. Everything is not bad and pretty standard. Food is fresh and fried items are crispy which is good. steamed bbq bun was not as steaming hot as expected but that’s okay. over experience is good and you may check out the pricing in the item list. There’s 10% off dim sum for now.

Finally a good dim sum place up north in Richmond Hill at major Mac and woodbine. Good customer service too

Good spot for high-end Cantonese fare in northern Markham. The interior is very nicely decorated and spacious. Service is relatively friendly and attentive for a busy Chinese restaurant. I've come here for both dim sum lunch and dinner. I enjoyed dinner a bit more. The food is pricey, but great quality. They have this fried eel dish that was my favourite of the night. Dim sum was good, but somewhat disappointing. I've seen a lot of people posting about how great it is on Facebook groups so I had high expectations. The quality was good, but portions were small one steamed beef ball was the same size as two here, and it was on the pricier side given the portion sizes. One standout dim sum item they had was their flaky lava almond bun, absolutely loved it since most other dim sum spots only have steamed lava custard buns. There aren't that many high-end Cantonese restos in this part of Markham yet, so this is a good option for it if you're in this area.
