Got this for takeout and it was our first time trying malatang. On average, it’s around $15/person, which isn’t bad. The flavour is on the heavy side as expected - we ordered mild and it’s still quite spicy. Follow me on Instagram for more food adventures at @maggliecious.to
They offer lots of choices which is good. Soup base is yummy and hot. But $3.75 per 100 gram is too expensive especially they don't remove the plastic package of the yam noodles. That means you have to pay for the weight of that plastic bag too. Overall, service is good so I still give a 4-star rating. But for a long turn, they should reduce the price to attract more customers to return.
We went there a few weeks ago and tried the all you can eat menu. For girls, I suggest you try the regular by weights menu, or else you either eat too much as I did or overpay for what you eat. The taste was good and they put lots of sesame oil in it.
This place was really yummy! Except super expensive! I go to different place for malatang but heard of this place so went. Got similar amount of toppings as usual but this place was twice as much compared to others. I paid $42 for bowl of malatang for myself veggies, rolls of meat, fishballs, and noodle… that’s what I got
First time to try this. The soup was indeed very good, would be great if they can put a little more. Surprisingly the meat balls were pretty good. Yes a little pricey yet it’s unique, you pay for the quality not quantity. Very friendly service. Will definitely go again.
Tasty but a little bit overpriced. You need to pay extra $3.99 for soup base.
We wanted to try new restaurants and found this one. It was strange that the shop was empty at noon but we still ordered. My wife and I had diarrhea after having this OVER-PRICED noodles. That’s why it was empty. Lesson learned.
Food was decent but the restaurant seemed very unprofessional and disorganized. We asked for small bowls but they told us the only bowls they had were plastic bowls for toddlers LOL. We were so confused. The staff also didn’t prepare utensils until we asked. Everything seems to be out of place. I wasn’t even mad because it was so ridiculously funny that I was laughing the whole time.
Literally waited at the front for one of the two staff working there to greet me but they completely ignored me. Waited patiently for a good 5+ minutes or so in case they were just really busy with things, but when I finally waived at them and tried to talk to them, they told me to “wait!”. They were not serving anyone at the time. The whole place was empty!! I love Malatang and was really excited to try out this place but I will not be going back.
best malatang I’ve had in a while! Love their broth base, very delicious! All the ingredients are super fresh, will definitely revisit!
