The place is quite new and beautifully renovated. Bathroom is clean and tables are large. The only thing is the tables are quite close to each other so be careful when going between the tables. We came in for a late lunch at around 2:30PM and did not have to wait. Food tastes great! Everything was well presented and a decent portion. We ordered a fresh lobster which pushed the price higher, if you are only going for dim sum, $20-30 per person is definitely enough. Service is also excellent, the waitress came to switch out plates midway, which is a first for us for dim sum. Definitely will come back for their king crab dinner set one day!
The restaurant looks bright, clean and welcoming inside. The tables are fairly close together, not a lot of room to walk around. The service was excellent, attentive and friendly. The food was all nicely prepared and generously portioned. There are quite a few set meals to choose from for different size groups. Lots of parking available. Will be back!
This place has been open since 2020, replaced the Boston Pizza that had an amateur magician on weekends.nnThe staff spoke mainly Cantonese like the earlier dim sum places, nowadays its only Mandarin speaking. For those who only speak Canto consider this place.nnWednesday morning around 10:30 wasn’t busy as expected, lots of regular customers whom the staff recognizes.nnFood is served in the typical square bamboo trays, all beat up and worn from all that steaming. Food quality is good and portions decent.nAtmosphere was pretty good, clean and fairly modern.nMain door faces Major Mack, the covered patio facing the parking lot is the first thing you see after parking. And boy! Its a sight, they use as storage for junk and stuff. Check my pics!!
Thank you to Kingsfield for making our special dinner from my brother visiting from the states a memorable one.nnRestaurant is beautiful and bright. Manager and Servers were very professional, swift, attentive and have good skills.nnWe had a sophisticated bottle of wine and they know how to serve it. Plates were swapped 3-4 times eating seafood. Plating was beautiful.nnFood was authentic and spot on. We were so happy and will return again. This is a higher end restaurant so you pay a premium but it is good value for the taste and essence they’re achieving. I really enjoyed the dish. Well executed.nnThank you
First time trying this newly open Chinese cuisine at Richmond Hill/Markham area. Kingsfield already earns a spot for a must try and must revisit again Chinese restaurant. We ordered Peking Duck 2 courses, half chicken with scallion, XO sauce ox tongue and steam egg with clams and ginger. I must say with the price of $58, the Peking Duck wins it all. I cannot say this is the best duck I have, but consider that $58, it is definitely worth the price and must try. XO sauce stir fry Ox tongue is another amazing dishes in the restaurant, huge portion with lots of Ox tongue. Steam egg is very tasty because of the clams and ginger, the freshness of clams is definitely a good addition to the steam egg. However, the chicken is not too special and just as normal as the other restaurant, not too much surprise. I will recommend this restaurant for family gathering. Huge portion with good pricing!
