Kingfisher Fast food and Cuisine

Beautiful view of sunset across whole glassed one side of restaurant. We really enjoyed the middle of the road selection of music playing and the fact it wasn’t too loud or with a backdrop of wall to wall big screen TVs. Server was very pleasant with the exception of her lack of apology for my pointing out that the tap beers were not chilled to a normal temperature. Standard answer should be “very sorry about that I will let my manger know…would you like me to see if the bottle beers are colder”. Asked if potato or yam fries were homemade and neither were. Really disappointing in a restaurant trying to present itself as above your average pub food not to take the time to make homemade fries. The Kanaka Creek Salad we ordered was excellent. I ordered a salmon burger which at $15 was reasonably priced however would not order again. Just no sense of it being salmon let alone fresh salmon. At the height of salmon season and you can’t secure good quality fresh wild salmon for your menu…charge a little more if you have to this is BC salmon should be your signature dish. My wife ordered Gnocchi which she said was quite satisfactory but not exceptional. Really enjoyed the ambience and service but unfortunately not wowed by what we had except the salad which is probably is the easiest thing to prepare.

Havent been there for a while... used to be good. Quiet meal. Lots. Beer on tap??? think so, cant rember, but yes beet anyway. Goid food for working guys, but not breakfast. Place didnt open until 11 am. then all day breakfast i believe not bad, three. new owners? maybe better. Will check. I liked this place... location

I ordered the lemon chicken and butter chicken tonight, however neither one tasted like I got what I wanted. The so called butter chicken was pink and had very little poultry. The lemon chicken tasted like curry. When I called to complain I was dismissed and made to believe it was the correct order. I will never order from this place again.

Ordered through the Just Eat app. Worst Chinese food I’ve ever had. The fried rice and wonton soup were so salty. The chow mein was so greasy. Stay far away from this place!

Took my family out for dinner and their food was great. Kids had fried chicken and halibut while we enjoyed the chowmein... friendly staff. Prices are reasonable. Would definitely recommend everyone.
