King Sejong Restaurant

A nice place to eat Korean food in Victoria. The restaurant was clean and well spaced. We went there near their break time. They close at 2:30 for lunch break and we came around 2. They still served us well and patiently waited for us to finish our food. The staff was friendly and very nice. We ordered pork and some dumplings. The portions are nice and filing. They give a nice size of sides to each person. They also have several options for Soju including fresh Soju.

2021 Aug update: Food back to standard. Again superb service. Better service than Naru 2020 review 1 This is a Super busy place, however servers offer really good service and showed patience explaining to customers who may need a long wait. They always talk with nice smiles and Food is amazing and inexpensive! Will definitely recommend for people to come. 202 review 2 Second time after 7 months I am disappointed. service was still really good but food was not tasty. Seafood soybean soup looked like left overs from other guests. I was sad. Will try one more time to decide if I will let go of this place.

I loved their service, two girls are so friendly. The food is good as well. The kimchi soup is a little spicy but totally acceptable. The seafood pancake is delicious. I loved their traditional Korean food, and the price is reasonable! I will stay Victoria for three day this time and I will visit them for following three days. Hahaha 2020.01.09 Like I said, I will visit them for following days, haha Today I ordered the noodle and potato soup, they are sooooo delicious! I almost finished the soup even I was too full to ate anything. The noodle is also good, the source is tasty! 5 start for sure!

Quite a nice place to go to. Good Korean good We went there for dinner at about closing time but they serve us well. Place are clean and separated during this pandemics. Food quality and portion are good and enough . Just the food’s temperature and some space needs improvement Great value indeed

This is a very good Korean restaurant with an assortment of authentic items on the menu. I had the Ojingeo Bokkeum Spicy Squid on a sizzling plate It's so spicy I drank a pitcher of water. It comes with spicy appetizers and rice. It's a little bit pricey but well worth it. Covid update: Back after 2 years. They survived covid! They check vaccine passports, insist on masks and sanitary procedures. This time I had the Dolsot Bibimbap which was not that spicy and very good.

Best Korean food in town!

I order the seolrung soup. It just has a few beef slices and just noodles with rice. How could it deserve $14.6 after tax for a soup?

It was a good time here! Good flavours, friendly service at lunch. Would have preferred a few more sides, but the bean sprouts, potatoes and Kim Chi were good.

One of the best Korean restaurants around that we’ve been coming to over the past 15+ years! This was one restaurant on our road trip list that we knew we had to come back to and NO DISAPPOINTMENT! Our go-to are the Hotpot BIBIMBAP traditional rice bowl with lots of veggie and beef, Yukgaejang spicy beef soup, and Haemul Pa-jeon seafood pancake. Coming back after moving away from Victoria and through pandemic, it appears they have not lost their touch and truthfully reasonably minimal change to prices over the past many many years. Great value for awesome food! Very accommodating for our 4 families with 16 adults+kids in all!

I loved the food everytime I ate here, I’ll definitely miss this place. Wishing the owners and workers the best :
