Kimball Farm Jaffrey

We have a tradition of hiking Mount Monadnock in the morning and stopping at Kimball on the way home for ice cream as a sweet reward. Creamy, delicious ice cream with good flavor variety. The portion sizes are HUGE - a small was as big as a large at some other establishments. Only criticism is that the line can sometimes move very slowly on a busy day. Ample outside seating. There is also a food stand and a small store.

Worth the drive! This place is probably out of the way for most people, but the food is excellent. Fried seafood dishes are their mainstay, but they have other options such as burgers and sandwiches as well. The food is good, their ice cream is better! Delicious homeade ice cream and the serving sizes are huge! Try the banana split if you are brave enough to handle that monstrosity.

Favorite place for ice cream! Summer is not complete without a trip here for ice cream. As soon as this place opens, my daughter starts hinting. Portions are huge, lots of flavors, ice cream is very good. Food is decent. Dining room has an odd smell. Gift shop is cool.

Always a winner! The creaminess and portions from Kimballs outweighs any other ice cream place. You won’t be sorry ordering a kiddie size!

New to the Kimball's experience? No trip through Jaffrey is complete without a stop at this locally famous eatery. While known for it's popular ice cream, this location offers both indoor and outdoor dining options. Open seasonally for spring and summer, the restaurant offers incredibly generous portions in seafood and dinner options. Hiked Mt Monadnock? Stop by for that richly deserved ice cream treat. Ice cream portions are super-sized, so for the first time customer, order the kiddie size. Finally, if you thoroughly enjoyed the visit, consider visiting the gift shop for that t-shirt or other momento.
