Since opening in 1990, we have been providing Toronto with quality eyewear and contact lenses. Kim's Optical continues to offer customers with superior products, services, and professional assistance.

Our curation of frames include such brands as: Gucci, Prada, Givenchy, Lanvin, Paul Smith, Oliver Peoples, ic! berlin, Matsuda, Lindberg, Rayban, Kio Yamato, and many more.

This glass shop is very precious in the whole western world. Because usually in the west, it is no , no service. But in east Asia, business are selling service 1st. Like giving loads and loads of samples, helping people out with their specialties for free. So that for the business like this, customers will going back and back again. I got my 2nd last glasses here 4yrs ago, the old guy had the perfect technic to adjust the frame. So this time I came back with a frame I bought from another store, I wonder if I can met the old guy I think he is the Dr? again. Anyways, he took my glasses without any ask and helped me out. He was so kind and patient. We went back and forth several times. No fee charged. If you need a pair of glasses in Toronto, just go here. There is no other glass shop like this one. I went to the other glass shop that also had all 5 stars reviews, they may good at the lenses, but not so good at adjust frames.
This is my Go-To-Place for eyeglasses. I tried to be open-minded and tried other local eyeglass shops. I usually end up going back to Kim's Optical. I really trust Michelle. Kim's Optical really cares about quality.
I really like this place. Their selection of glasses is huge. They take covid protocols seriously to keep themselves and their customers safe respectable. Their staff are friendly, super helpful and easy to work with. They even have an eye exam place right upstairs so you can kill two birds with one stone. Was very happy with Michelle, she helped me pick out the nicest glasses both times I came here and made the experience fun instead of streasful. She kept bringing me great options to try on and genuinely wanted to make sure I was in love with my final descision. Thanks Kim's Optical! You guys are now my go to glasses place. Highly recommend.

Quality of service has gone down recently. Frame #1: they over extended the temple on my glasses. How does that even happen? They fixed it later on so ok no problem. Frame #2: They bent the frame at the bridge area and claimed that they were like that before. No no no I don't think so. Also, I don't think they put in the right lenses either. These glasses are currently paper weight. I cannot wear them. It's hard to notice the issues while you are in the store, their covid restrictions keep you in one small area of the store and you feel pressured to leave immediately. I don't have time to keep going back to get my frames fixed. I'll be taking my business somewhere closer.
I have been going to Kim’s Optical for many years. Friendly and professional staff always impress me. The optometrist office on the upper level is also very organized, kind and professional. Strongly recommend to anyone.
This is one of the best professional place, specially in this unprecedented time of covid. They have all the protocols for covid-19 measures. Very clean and most important lot of variety of frames. The people are very nice and friendly here, customer service is excellent. Price, I would say is reasonable. Their service is quick, if they have the glasses for prescription they will give the glasses in just 20 min. I have never seen this kind of service before. Surely would recommend this store! Good job Kim opticals. I am glad I found this store!

I went to Kim’s optical for glasses for my husband and myself. Both times the service we received was fantastic. Michelle was extremely helpful and friendly. She made the process of picking frames seamless and easy and her recommendations were great. The turnaround time is also a huge plus and I found the prices to be very reasonable. I’m extremely happy with both the service and product we received here!
Just a FIRST CLASS experience with Kim's Optical from start to finish. Textbook Covid procedures in place, friendly, professional and knowledgeable staff, and a great selection of frames. Howard walked me through every aspect of custom crafting my eyewear incorporating my life needs to make the best choices. Glasses and contacts were crafted perfectly and ready for pick up on time - fitting took no time at all. 5 free days worth of disposable lenses were included so that if the ones I ordered didn't fit right, I could return the purchased supply and have them replaced for free. This is the way EVERY business should operate. Thanks guys, I will be back!!
