Kim Phat

We have decided to check out this place after our last visit 5 years ago. The location is pretty convenient when we want to leave Brossard. Parking was easily available. Store seems pretty well-maintained and cleaner than other Asian stores I’ve been to in Chinatown. Wide variety of products though not as much as Ocean Plus in Verdun. Also, shame they don’t carry snowskin mooncake though G&D did. Pretty stoked to find Thai coconut biscuits here They also carry a number Japanese and Korean toiletries/skincare products. I find the prices to be higher than other Asian stores we normally go to.

We drive up to this clean, friendly market whenever the weather permits. The fruits and veg are very well maintained and displayed. The butchers are awesome and bahn mi is made fresh by 9h30 on weekdays. Every staff member on the market floor is bilingual and incredibly polite. My daughter stocks up on Nori and Pocky at every visit. Kim Phat is one of the few places to have a permit to make char sui bao. These are rolls filled with bbq pork - one son can eat five at a go. Another child loves bulgogi and someday my cooking will do the butcher's effort justice. Plan to return home with a car full of groceries. UPDATE: Kim Phat remains our favourite grocery store on the South Shore. Anytime the cravings hit, head to Kim Phat for Char Sui Bao bbq pork baked in a roll and Bahn Mi vietnamese sandwich with fresh pickle and cilantro. Even if i promise myself that I will not buy more, my car returns full. The prices and quality of fruit, vegetables, and other produce is is unmatched. The helpfulness and professionalism of the staff remains admirable. Please install a car charger so we can shop worry-free in the colder months!

20230114: The best asian Canadian grocery in Brossard. Fresh and clean! - no dedicated public toilet for customers. - both entrance are locked all time. In order to enter with wheelchair you must call or let one of the clerk know so they can come to unlock and on your way exit. This is to babysitting their . Very old way of thinking. Now that IGA owned 51% of Kim Phat, we hope new management will open up both entrances for everyone including wheelchairs and baby strollers.

Very busy place difficult to find parking but come and go is fast so you will find a place. You will find all exotic foods . vegetables and condiments for asian cuisine. Very clean and helpful employees. Must visit.

This Kim Phat is bigger than other locations, well organized, diverse staffs, fresh vegetables, fish, meats at very reasonable price.

The best grocery shop in the south shore for asian food! Absolutely love it!

I was just treated very badly by a middle-aged man in the raw meat section. He acted as if I was pestering him and begging him to give me free meat. Is that really the case? Is this how you treat your clients? Fortunately, a thin man treated me kindly. I don't think I will come to this area again. I hope the operator of Blonde Supermarket sees this. I believe I am not the only one who has encountered such treatment! This is something that has never happened in Canada! Unforgettable!

I love that market, it’s big and has almost everything I need for asian inspired cooking. Good prices on vegetable and good selection of ramen. My favorite thing is the bakery section!

I don’t usually buy too many fresh fruits, vegetables or meat here but I love all their frozen foods, snacks, teas, spices, and everything else you can find in a grocery store! High recommend. I go out of my way to come here even if it’s further from my house than other Asian grocery stores. They have so many great options that I can’t find near me

They do NOT accept returns, not even give store credit, even with reciept and for nonperishables. The manager, lady, is rude. The meat people are nice. I am new here, their location was far from me and I was uncertain to continue going there for gerocery or no. With this behavior is a no for sure. I think they should learn customer service from Canadians and practice to behave better, especially after COVID!
