IGA extra grocery Martin Lamarre

This is pretty much my go-to place for grocery shopping. There is always variety and freshness in vegetables, fish and seafood. However, the beef offer could be better. In general, you can find everything, so, there is no need to go to other markets to complete the groceries. It's also very convenient for late night shopping.

I needed some last-minute catering for a series of funeral home viewings, and I tried the Charcuterie at this IGA. I had tried their deli fare at a recent church event and was quite impressed - I couldn't tell the difference between IGA and the much more expensive caterer the church recommended. I placed orders on 2 consecutive days and kept it simple and just ordered sandwiches: tortilla wraps the ones that look like sushi when they are sliced, croissant sandwiches, and assorted egg/ham/tuna salad on white bread and crusty rolls. All the sandwiches were fresh, generously filled, well-presented and easy to transport. And the prices are extremely reasonable for sandwiches. And fresh fruit salad. But for things like veggie platters and cheese, there are better deals out there. My only issue with this IGA process was the ordering. The website says they need 48 hours notice to place an order. Don't take that literally - make that 72 hours to be safe. Because I cut it so close, the online ordering system wouldn't accept payment - I had to go to the store personally just to place the order. And for my second order - the system rejected my credit card entirely, requiring another visit where the card worked fine. Service is excellent. Sylvie in particular was very friendly and expedited things. I will definitely use IGA Charcuterie again, especially for wraps and stuffed salad rolls.

My wife came to see if there were some flowers for her mother and came with a beautiful orchid... If you're looking for the best sales or making economies, there's not the place. If you're looking for quality over the price, there are a lot of things. Not all brands are here, though... i.ex. they don't have Gadoua breads. Good variety of beer brands. I love the place, good service and clean.

Was told that they do not do price matching even for 1 item in the purchase despite stating on the IGA website about unbeatable price guarantee.

Pretty standard IGA extra. Clean and well light. Good selection, but could take queues from the IGA extra in St-Basile which has a large section devoted to ORGANIC food products. Curious observation and no negative comments, but just stood out to me the 2 times I have gone, I've noticed ALL the cashiers are male, lol.

Great location, easy to get in and out, lots of parking space. Just wish they had self check out.

Great produce, friendly staff. Alleys are large enough. Prices higher than elsewhere but quality is there, mostly with their home brand, "Compliments".

Its good grocery store for most but their things that they lack .

Nice place, there is electric car parking, so you can charge the car while you get your groceries,which is very useful, the parking is not so large compared to other IGA, the staff is nice and always tell you about the offers you might be missing, offer to wait for you to go get it. But I was too shy to keep people behind me waiting. I wish I didn’t it was a free hot meal or pré rolled sushi

Great grocery store, great selection. Store is very well maintained. Shelves stocked. There's an ATM in the store. You can also buy your monthly transit bus pass. You can return your empty cans & plastic bottles in the available 2 machines... for glass bottle go to the store counter.
