Kibo Sushi House

Great Japanese food. Great service too. They have many vegetarian and vegan options. The bar choices are good, but more limited than the previous owners. Very good prices and value for delicious Japanese food. Good atmosphere in downtown Oakville. I highly recommend this restaurant!Food: 5/5

Sushi was super fresh, service was amazing and the decor was very nice. Great atmosphere to be in, but most importantly the food was terrific. All the items on the menu looks great but we ordered the love boat for 2 and one app. Price was reasonable and the portion was perfect. Would definitely come again!

I've always passed this place in Oakville downtown, but never tried it out until tonight, and only after my friend recommended it. Service was top-notch, the sashimi was of high quality, and the rolls were perfectly balanced with just the right amount of rice. Even their miso soup was perfect!Food: 5/5

My friend and I got the two person love boat for lunch. Most of the sushi and sashimi was good but the tuna was completely inedible. It made my friend gag so I only took a small bite. It tasted like blood metallic and was super fishy. I haven't seen other reviews mentioning this so it might just have been an off day for the tuna but it definitely made the rest of the food less enjoyable. Just be careful when ordering tuna. Everything else was ok.

Ordered an assortment of 5pc rolls for takeout and they were all quite tasty! We ate by the lake since the restaurant is so close to Lakeshore and the weather was gorgeous. My favorite were the aburi torched options. I will probably order a platter for better value next time.

Kibo offers quick service and sushi downtown Oakville. The restaurant inside is fairly narrow and long with limited decor or vibe. Outside dining on the patio curb-side In the summer is preferred. The sushi fish was fresh. The roll combinations were interesting and the menu is loaded with options. I really enjoyed the tuna and avocado tartare. The spicy chicken karage was a tad heavy on the batter but the portion is very generous! The rolls were tasty but not very tight or finely rolled - from a aesthetic perspective they were loose. The sushi was absolutely amazing. It just melted in your mouth. Also, the staff was very friendly. I would definitely go back there.

I ordered two items and only 1 came. The driver said not his problem as that’s all the restaurant gave. Customer left in hungry. Couldn’t reach out as by the time this happened the restaurant was closed for the day.

Great vegetarian/vegan sushi! This location is great when they have the patio set up, great atmosphere. Everything came out pretty quickly, and is reasonably priced. $6-8 for most 8 piece trays. My fiancée and I have gone here several times.

The best sushi I have had in GTA. The Grand maki collection was out of the world delicious.
