I have used this KFC since it opened and have always found it to be fantastic , however the last couple of times the food has been disgusting. On today's visit we was served wing's that were pink.and definitely not cooked. The person serving me was rude ,i asked a question whilst ordering and before switching off her microphone she was saying for gods sake to other staff members who then thouhht it was okay to stand at the window and smirk as we drove round. Wont be using again and would definetley not reccomend.
Nice, clean restaurant that is easily accessible. Staff were helpful and polite and took my order without delay. My order came in a reasonable time and was complete, unlike some restaurants. The food is KFC chicken and although very tasty seasoning i can't help but feel that there qualify of chicken has diminished in recent years, it maybe I've been super spoiled with some other brands that are offering fried chicken. But in isolation still a good mid-week treat.
FOOD 5/5 I recommend waiting for a fresh batch of chicken; that's when KFC is at its best. SERVICE 3/5 The service here is polite but nothing impressive. All requests are respectfully fulfilled. VALUE 5/5 £30 for a family of 5 is great. NOTE TO MANAGEMENT: I was quite surprised at how dirty the toilets were though and having been raised in the catering industry, toilets are always a sign of the general mindset of a food establishment. It's one thing having a cleaning rota, it's another thing doing the job and knowing how to do it. If the toilets are clean, the food will be handled hygienically too.
Some friendly staff. The atmosphere was okay. The food standard is average. This could be an amazing KFC if they paid more attention to the food, which has been average at best during most visits.Food: 2/5
Chicken pieces were hot and fresh. However I only got two pieces of thigh, and four rather smallish drumsticks - if it had occurred to me at that time, I could have asked for three nice large pieces of thigh, and three drumsticks... Perhaps next time! Food: 4/5
Disgusted I was in a rush today and stopped for lunch I think I will let the pictures do the talking - Disgusting food long wait and just shocking overall I will never use KFC again this place should be inspected by health and hygiene and I will be reporting along with the inedible beans the chicken was also that bad it was thrown a complete was of £8.99
Food was OK.. Well it's KFC and was what I expected. However the cleanliness of the table/public area was very poor. It was 9pm so well after the tea time rush but the floor had not been sweeped. Also why does it take so long to get your food when you go inside compared to drive through same order?? Parking: Available. Wheelchair parking is on a slope...
Well if I wanted lots of beard hair in it and long hair in it and cold too this is the place to go! 20 mins waiting for food and got it and it was cold then they forgot drinks so another 10 mins and they got upset because I said the food was cold and took another 30 mins to sort it out overcharged too for items I didn't ask for! It's filthy and unhygienic left quickly. I've had a better atmosphere in a cow field on my own and cleaner too!!
Service was ridiculously slow. Staff member walked away from tills with a huge queue waiting and didn't return, other staff just ignored the queue. 10 mins later we had to ask another staff member to take our order. When food finally arrived it was luke warm. Would rather drive to Stanway Colchester than go back again.Food: 2/5
Service is usually pretty quick, it's got nice modern decor. The food is fresh and tasty and it's miles better than my more local kfc. Parking: Right outside the restaurant seem to be enough whenever I've visited.
