VERY CLEAN, with a comfortable bed, which are the most important points!nRoom was quite small but we arrived late and left early, so not a problem. Heater fan was quite loud, but otherwise it was a good stay for a very reasonable price.
Clean rooms, very helpful friendly owners, would not hesitate to visit again
Stayed there this past weekend. Room was adequate. Few things needing repair ie shelf in bathroom. Had a domestic disturbance next door. Called front desk after listening to it for twenty minutes or so with no charge. No response at all from front desk for a good fifteen minutes when we were able to hear the desk calling the room. Issue still continued after for quite some time. Police were never called. Truly a disturbing situation. Did not feel safe after that. When we checked out the only comment made when mentioned by my husband was sorry. Nothing else.
It is apparent they are doing some work on this place to update it but it is a bit tired. When we booked it you see the nice old home in the pics. But when you get there it is an old motel behind the house. Our room was in a 2 story brick building beside the motel. My mom had a hard time navigating the cement stairs. So if you don't do stairs be sure to ask for the main floor. The place was clean and the bed was comfortabe.
Classic Canadian motel. Ideal for an overnight stay. Very close to lots of breakfast fast food places.
