I went to this location looking for a self-propelled/walk-behind gas mower. The head of the lawn care department was off that day, so I dealt with a couple of teenagers. They were great kids, but unfortunately they sent me home with the wrong mower. Once I had it assembled, I realized that it was just a regular push mower. I took it back, and Andy made it right. Exchanged my assembled push power for a fully assembled self-propelled at a very good price. It was a bit of an inconvenience for all involved, but they were very good about it and didn't give me any trouble, and in the end they sent me home a very happy customer. Recommend.

The staff were knowledgeable in root propagation and were very helpful overall. Kent is also a dog friendly store which helps during warm weather errands around town. Their garden centre has a good variety of perennials and annuals.

Kent building supplies... Rip off. Bought this product labelled at 5.99. Charged 15.99 for it. When I went back to get it fixed they said nope that's tagged wrong. I said well there's a whole box of it tagged at 5.99. She said well that's the wrong product. I said well what about the tag above it that says 8.59? She said nope that's the wrong product as well. I said how in the hell am I supposed to shop in a store that has two prices on something and neither of them are right? How do I know how much anything is in here?nnI said what about the scanning code of practice? She said that's just for stores who want to participate and we don't want to... I said yeah clearly since you guys apparently can't price anything properly. Don't want to do the job properly or stand by what you have posted in your store to protect the consumer? Very friendly, knowledge staff. Good selection of products. Store is open with lots of room to move around with large items. It is dog friendly which makes shopping when we have our dog easynn2024-10-19 drove 90min on a Saturday as we had some major purchases to make only to arrive and be turned away at 1550 because they were doing inventory. We checked the hours online before we came to ensure sufficient time. This will change our shopping habits as we will no longer rely on this store. Staff were rude and did not care to assist us.
