Atlantic Superstore

Atlantic Superstore on it’s own is a great supermarket with enough variety and discounts to keep me coming back, everything is laid out great and I never once feel lost looking for what I want.nnBut the main star is their in store prepared meal replacements, I am not exaggerating when I say their food beats out most restaurants and fast food places in the area. Their potato wedges especially have just the right amount of heat, crisp and seasoning.nnWorth shopping at if you’re looking for a grocery stockpile or need a meal to fill up with.nnalso give Zach a raise, they deserve it they’re awesome

I used to really enjoy shopping at the Superstore but not anymore. I have been thinking about writing a review but thought I would allow some time to see if circumstances might change however, to date, they haven't. I now dread walking into the Superstore as I am either followed by loss prevention, asked if I would like to pay for the water I brought with me to the store or, at the self check out, asked if I paid for an item I have already processed. I am so tired of being accused of stealing especially when some employees continue to have an attitude even when they realize I have not stolen anything. Unfortunately this store appears to promote a sense of superiority over customers. In the future I hope employees can be properly trained to at least have a pleasant attitude toward people when they discover they have incorrectly accused people of not paying for something/stealing. I don't steal and don't plan to start but I am extremely disappointed how I am treated at this store. I am only asking to be treated with respect as every human being deserves to be treated. I know you can do better Superstore so please show us you can.

I felt discriminated with the old woman upon exit and a guy who force me to leave at 5:58pm because the guy said they will close at 6pm and he even went to the counter just to check if i have money to pay for my groceries. This happen just right now. December 31st, 2025. It’s a bad experience moving in this small town of new glasgow. Especially doing groceries here at atlantic superstore. nnI think because im asian that’s why they are being racist. Sad

So, the new flyer just came out yesterday for a sale on fresh pizzas. I called to have some pizzas made and they told me that they have no dough for making the pizzas. I wonder if they will have any before the flyer runs out...lol..So, I guess I will take my business elsewhere.

One of my favorite places to shop. Friendly helpful staff, a good variety of ethnic cooking ingredients.nnMy only gripe, bring back Red in the Flyers & markings. Switching from Red to Blue made no sense to anyone living in the Atlantic ProvincesnnGreen is Sobeys, Blue is Walmart, Red was always Superstore.
