I've been going here since last year, they are the first dental place in a long time that have made me feel very comfortable.

I went through a months long process of having dentures made and when the day finally came to get my new dentures they DIDN'T FIT AT ALL!!. Mind you this was after many appointments for fittings. Dentist totally down played it like no big deal and said "there's nothing I can do." He said I should go to a prosthodontic specialist. Meanwhile the dental assistant said the same thing happened to another patient. I don't know if this is common or if he's just not very adept at making dentures. Now I have to start all over again-with no teeth! I expressed my disappointment verbally while there, then I later sent him an email to have a record of it. He never responded!

On a prior appointment, he seemed nice and polite and professional. Now I was in the chair to get more than a few fillings. Before he started, he didn't offer any sort of information about what he intended to do and I wasn't given the opportunity to ask. As soon as he was ready to get to work, and without even an utterance of some sort of instruction, he held up four gel-coated sticks to my face and simply expected me to be quiet and open up. Throughout the entire process, neither Dr. Seymour or his assistant ever said anything directed toward me regarding what they were doing, except the occasional command. Never did anyone say, "This might hurt a bit" or "Right now we're doing..." or anything to make me feel like more than a paycheck to them. After taking about 8 or 10 injections into my gums without warning, both the Dr. and his assistant walked out of the room without giving any explanation as to why. After about 30 minutes, they came back and he said "Okay let's get you out of here" and proceeded to converse with his assistant about what they were having for dinner and whether or not they enjoy soup. Anyway, they didn't "get me outta there" because after maybe 10-15 minutes, he and his assistant again, left the room. This time, I managed to ask the assistant, "How long until you're back?" She guessed "about 20 minutes." When they came back the Dr. again said "Okay let's get you outta here." Only this time, they weren't talking about dinner. They were talking about the snowstorm brewing outside and how they were in a big hurry to get on the road to beat traffic. When they had nearly finished, Dr. Seymour said out loud "Oh shoot" and carried on like it must have been nothing. As soon as they were done, and without exchanging any words with me, the Dr. said "Well, that's it for me!" and out the door he went. The assistant tried leaving the room with "go wait in the lobby to make a follow up," but I stopped her with "Do you mind if I rinse?" Do I really have to ask? Then I tried to get some information about the work done and how I should care for it. I asked how many cavities were filled, the assistant responded with "I don't know, that many" as she pointed to the computer screen as if I were supposed to know what that meant. I asked when it was okay to eat again, she said "Maybe 2 hours." When I went to make a follow up, no secretary to be found. Then the assistant said to never mind that and they'd call me tomorrow (turns out, despite the hours listed on google, they were closed). About 45 minutes later, I got home and went to the bathroom mirror to take my first good look at the work done, and noticed one of the fillings in front just hanging between my gums and the tooth. It came right off. Perhaps this was "oh shoot" moment Seymour had. So, I don't know about the rest of you, but I expect a heck of a lot more than this from my health/dental care providers. Shouldn't care providers actually care about their patients? Or at the very least put forth the effort to pretend? Needless to say, I won't be going back to this office.

I haven't had any problems with them whatsoever. They are friendly and seem to listen. I've recommended to several people. So glad I found a good dentist!!!
