We ordered food and drinks, with Kelsey's quantity is really good, however with this location it wasn't. Drinks we ordered didn't taste that good, though server offered us to change it we denied it. Food was testing good. Vegetarian options: Very few vegetarian options. Parking: Lots of parking space available
Love this place. The upstairs outdoor patio with a view of blue mountain is so relaxing. The food was phenomenal. Prices are great. We had a feast for two for less than what we paid for salads at another restaurant. This is our go to when in Collingwood.
Food was pretty good with the exception of the poutine gravy wasn't hot and the cheese curds were cold. I let the server know and she immediately corrected the situation. Much better after.
I want to like Kelsey's but when the food is really disappointing, we're just not going to come back. Nachos over toasted darkened and almost burnt and missing all the cheese what happened?. Honey buns warm on the very top, cold in the middle with cold unmelted cheese. And my chicken Parm with pasta yellowing from being under the heat lamp too long. It's like Kelsey's has just given up. Parking: Sufficient parking in back, but very dark with very little lighting after sundown.
Immediate service, even when very busy. The girls aren’t sleeping here! And the food is delicious.. one cannot go wrong. Mahala, my server is a very kind professional young lady
Ir was amazing. Great service, beautiful historic building, lovely meal. Thai curry bowl and Salt & Vinny fish and chips never disappoint Parking: An abundance of parking
As a former server, I always tip higher because I understand how hard servers work. Unfortunately my server was less than attentive. It took two servers to handle my order in a less than busy restaurant, is ridiculous. The machine was left with me take care of my own payment. Literally left with me. I’ve been here for a while and it’s still here on the table with me. I get it if you’re busy and you leave the terminal… but if your general demeanour is “oh great! I have to work”, I don’t get get it.
Had a good lunch today. Visited the area just for Kelsey’s! Didn’t disappoint! Yolanda was a great server who was attentive and pleasant!
Service is very slow and terrible. Staff is not friendly . Food quality and portion are not acceptable. They served my shrimp pasta cold and missing ingredient. Chicken burnt, salad not fresh, incorrect order..... Utensils dirty. No one picked up dirty dishes before serving the main course. There was no space on the table. People brought out our foods and just handed it to us. We noticed they did the same with other customers. The server was nowhere to be found. She never came to ask us if everything was okay. She came at the end to give us the bill and didn't ask if we were ok with things. The manager was nowhere to be found. The price point is reasonable, but people don't get what they paid. Having an unpleasant experience, I would not recommend this Kelsey's location .
We arrive to have a dinner without a reservation as party of 2 at 6 pm and restaurant was half empty - we were told that wait time is min 30 minutes until we could be seated. however we can’t wait inside of the restaurant and must be outside waiting for the text The manager on duty came in and was not friendly and confirmed a policy of waiting only outside. We decided to go and have dinner in different next door restaurant and enjoyed our food. We won’t be dining in Kelsey’s again.
