We visited on a Sunday night and it was not busy. We got a table immediately. We ordered a caesar salad, mac and cheese, classic sirloin and a full rack of ribs. The sirloin was cooked to medium rare but cut of meat was tough. The ribs were good. Everything else met our expectations. The service was good too.
Excellent and warm service. Bacon chess burger, tasty . I like flat pan nachos, big enough to feed four adults.
Food and drinks were both very delicious and satisfying. The staff was fairly quick at taking our orders and bringing them out. They were also the only restaurant in town able to accomodate our group size on short notice so that was much appreciated as well. I'd have liked to have a few pictures to add but I was just hungry by the time we even got to the restaurant and I was also trying to be courteous to my company.
Kelseys is my favourite place to go for a couple pints and wings along with other menu items. I've never had a bad meal here. Staff is always amazing! The manager Holly along with Sam and Kelsey are amazing! Always friendly and give great service!
Always pleased with the food and service at this location. The interior of the restaurant is well laid out, has nice decor and fixtures, and always clean. The ribs were very tender and tasty, and I was very happy with the chicken parmesan I got. Our server was Saram, she was attentive and very polite. We will be back! Parking: Lots of room for parking right out front or at the end of Independent for trucks and trailers.
Sevice was very good. Our complaint is kitchen based. Food was barely warm ribs but tasty. My partners baked potato came out cold, missing coleslaw & sour cream. Angry fries were excellant. It was a birthday dinner and the funnel cake fries complimentary dessert were definitely worth ordering again.
Taylor is an amazing young hostess with the mostest! 8 of us rocked in from out of town late on Friday night. She was a delight and got everything perfect. Our group mainly had appies, a couple of salads and some wings. It was all delicious. Kelsey's Huntsville I hope you hear me and credit Taylor on a job very well done. Cheers
A great first time back! Haven’t been in many years and we were pleasantly surprised with the menu. There is something for everyone. Emily our server was wonderful.
Visited on Sunday, and was advised there'd be a 35-40 minute wait. I get that, but when we asked about patio seating, we were told that the patio was closed, even though there were customers on it. Then we asked if we could sit at the bar while waiting, and were told no, as the bartender was too busy. So, even though we wanted to spend money while we were waiting, Kelseys would rather we go elsewhere. We ended up going to the Huntsville Brewhouse from Lake of Bays. It was also busy, but we were seated within 5 minutes and it was much more organized and customer-friendly. Won't be going back to Kelseys after this experience.
So disappointed with our visit! Ordered nachos for my son with what I thought was “beef” and it came piled high with chilli. Let the server know as it was spicy for my 8 year old and she said “I’ll remove it from the bill”. Got the bill and all she removed was the extra charge for the chilli topping. The rest of the food was just ok but the service was truly disappointing.
