Located in the Beltline of Calgary’s thriving community of food enthusiasts, ke Charcoal Grill & Sushi is the brainchild and passion of Terry Ke. Converted from an old art house, ke Charcoal’s interior reflects its offerings: rustic with a modern twist.

Everything was absolutely delicious!! Especially the truffle shrimp roll... wow... incredible! We tried the Geisha roll, the seared salmon roll, as well as the veggie tempura and then some dumplings they threw in as a thank you which was so sweet. It was all SO good. We will definitely be ordering again to try more of their menu! :
Fantastic izakaya with a sophisticated menu. The saba oshi sushi and anago sushi were fantastic. However, what is the true reason to try this place is the robata/yakitori selection. It's as close as you'll get to Vancouver's famed Zakkushi izakaya eateries.
Very happy with our last meal here during covid times. They even included a small bonus roll which was really appreciated. Also, with the available pick up order discount, or the buy 2, get 1 free discount offered, the price was quite good...not sure I'd be as interested if everything was just regular price though.
One of my favorite japanese places !! Great sushi top notch ingredients! Tried japanese a5 Wagyu and it was amazing! Reasonably priced too. Oysters were also very yummy and fresh tasting !
Overall the food here was excellent. The yakitori are great value, cooked very well, and come with good quality and generous cuts of meat. The ramen noodles are great to order as it is not a large bowl, and will leave you with plenty of room to try other things. The ramen soup is extremely rich and flavorful.
Amazing service. I’m allergic to shrimp and Ke took the extra step to make sure I was able to enjoy my meal without worrying about my allergies! Their platters are delicious.
Awesome place! The sushi is top notch and the bbq skewers are fantastic as well. Definitely check this place out!
