Decent Japanese place located in the financial district. While you could find better options elsewhere, the proximity makes it a good place to have a meal. The service is great and the decor is very professional.
Our absolute favourite Japanese spot in Ontario! We’ve traveled the world and had the chance to experience amazing sushis and Japanese cuisine and Katana on Bay ranks amongst the best. We come here at least every month to enjoy a nice dinner. You just got to try it to appreciate it!
Food was average - definitely not worth the price. The spicy rock shrimp was the most disappointing. You could barely find the shrimp in the batter. The tuna tartare was extremely bland. The jalapeno hamachi was nice and refreshing. Enjoyed the maguro and hamachi nigiri as well as the jalapeno salsa maguro.
So deliciousushi! Didn't order anything specific; just told them I like spicy, crunchy and saucy. They nailed it!
I came here with my boyfriend around 6ish, wasn’t too busy. A tapas style restaurant, we ordered 5 items. The rock shrimp and the aburi sushi were really nice. The coconut roll was a little strange but still nice. Our waiter was great and I definitely recommend this place !
In fairness, the food is not bad but for the price, I would've expected more. I very much enjoyed the beef short rib but the other dishes were fairly average.
Went for lunch and the service was absolutely phenomenal. Out server was attentive and very quick. I spilled my americano and she also quickly replaced it for me. Overall amazing experience. Would definitely visit again.
Amazing food and restaurant vibe. I love the staff just as much as the food. Really great flavours and unique options. Great location.
Great take on Japanese. Concoctions are fairly original and always tasty. On the pricey side, but worth a treat. I especially the enjoy the menu items designed with a bit of a kick.
