Karahi boys reviewnnThings i liked:nnAmbience and atmosphere:nnvery clean and modern looking comfortable decor and environment, comfy copper bulbs for the evening comfortable ambiance 5/5nnKarahi:nnwe tried Kboys signature karahi and Potohari karahi, i will rate  Kboys signature 5/5 and potohari karahi ⅘ , you will have to try all the other karahi’s and form your own experiencennMango Mojito:nnwas A class , loved it.  Very refreshing and cooling. I will give it 5/5nnThings that i DONT recommend:nn⅕nnKheer:  was very sticky and small serving in clay containers, better to skip itnnKboys Lahori Fish : nothing extraordinary about it, focus on the Karahi’s and skip the fishnnKulfi shake: 2/5nnfor $10.49 i think it is not worth  it.  Serving should be bigger considering the price, and it is decent in taste but nothing extraordinary,  my advise is to skip it and order Lime or mango mojitos if you want to. We haven't tried other drinksnnThings that can be improved:nnServicenn⅗  below averagennService has definitely room for improvement, we didnt experience any rudeness from servers but it needs to improve it benchmarks,  during our visit we were helped by 3 different servers, one who took order , one who brought food and later helped by a new person.  Continuously helped by a new person breaks the flow of smooth servicennFrequency of checking on customers:nnWe were not checked on enough times if we needed water or naan or anything, I dont require them checking on customers every 5 minutes but atleast every 10-15 minutes check if we needed anything, we had to flag the waiter to get our attentionnnGlass bottles on tablesnnI asked the waiter if we can get fresh water in the GLASS bottle that was pre-filled, he said that restaurant opens at 4 pm and they did it that time. I didnt argue and said it is okay.   But my thinking is that since we came there around 5:20 Pm by the time that water warms up a bit so that is why we wanted fresh cold water , they should fill fresh cold water when customers come, not prefill it and just sitting there.nnWashrooms:nnWashrooms do not match the ambiance of the store.  They are clean and tidy but they need to be upgraded as they are very ordinary and doesnt match the rest of the store in my opinion.nnReviews:nnSeems like someone is just copy pasting the same response to all the reviewsnn“Glad you had a great experience, Hope to see you again soon”nn, it means they are not reading the reviews carefully and  putting thought in responses
Travel stop in Calgary way to home Edmonton..Patakha chicken and Ashik sik kabab were good, sauces served with both appetizers were good. Most popular karahi’s are Kboys and Charsi chicken karahi. We tried Charsi chicken karahi not that much gravy-dry: what we like and was flavourful and naan were fresh and tone of the restaurant was good.
Loved the food Chapli kababs were the best very juicy and tasty, we ordered chicken wings , lahori fish and Kboys karahi everything was great
I ordered the Potohari Chicken, and it was completely tasteless. The only flavor I could detect was salt—no depth, no richness, just overwhelming saltiness. For a dish that cost nearly $50, it was a huge disappointment. I’m literally throwing it in the garbage. I expected so much better for the price and won’t be returning.
Went there and ordered multiple items. The gravy was exactly same for all, so basically it felt like they just put the main item of a dish in just one kind of gravy and then give it a new name. Quantity served was generous but the taste was just average.. Ambience and atmosphere is good. The pricing is on the higher side and the worst thing is that for a group of more than 7 people, 15% tip is mandatory even if you are unhappy with their service.
