Pleasantly surprised by this hidden gem this evening. We passed by millions times on Yonge street and just noticed this ribs & chicken place. Definitely one of my top 3 BBQ places in Toronto. Plenty parking in this small plaza. Bright and clean. Cute decors. Excellent customer service. The server -Nick was very courteous and attentive. We tried their whole back Pork Ribs, Pull Pork Sandwich, BBQ Chicken, Truffle Pretzel and Poutine. We were not disappointed. Food served quick and warm. The ribs were so juicy and tender and literally were falling off the bone. The sandwich was also delicious. My daughter loved their truffle pretzel and poutine. We didn’t get what we like for our drinks tonight, but no complaints. They do offer quite a few different brand of beers. Would definitely recommend friends & family and visit again :
Hands down the best BBQ I have eaten! The meat was so tender that it quite literally was falling off the bone - I loved it! The staff were super friendly and courteous; the manager especially came out to have a chat, and to see if we needed anything. Would definitely visit again :
I used to love this place for wings, a little pricey but worth the treat once in awhile. My last interaction with them left me shocked. I ordered 50 wings, which is roughly $85 so it was not a small amount. They all came out like in the picture, way overcooked. The chicken was not only dry but almost all of them were overcooked to the point that they were mostly hardened. You can tell from the picture how badly they were made. I called and told them they burnt my wings, and I was told I would get a call back from the owner. I waited almost a week before posting this review, hoping the owner would honour his word and try to remediate the situation. The owner didn't bother calling me back, he clearly doesn't care about customer service. Never going back here again.
Amazing service, thanks to the chef. The meat was delicious and the meat was like butter! Fries with cheese and truffle were next level. Highly recommend.Food: 4/5
Amazing food and service! And its Halal!!! The owner is a fantastic pit master! Kansas style sauces and BBQ rub. The ribs are amazing, the wings, both regular and breaded were awesome, Fries were great, chicken was juicy and flavorful. This place is a must try. The owner was passionate about the business and taking care of the customer. All none poke items are halal and supplied by Sargent farms and St. Helens as per menu I plan to go back!
Went to grab a chicken sandwich combo and it was absolute garbage. Usually burnt but never this bad, the chicken and bun was black, horrible to look at. Smelt bad too. And I took one bite and didn’t eat the rest since it was literally inedible. Waste of money and ruined my dinner.
Just got back from an amazing dinner. The owner took care of us personally and his service was perfect. We got the beef ribs and brisket with a side of truffled tots. Everything was amazing! I highly recommend ordering the smoked papaya habanero hot sauce as well. We will be back soon!
We came here yesterday night - absolutely 100/10 on customer service and the beef brisket! The waiter or the owner? Not sure was wonderful and welcoming + genuine. The ambiance is very modern and overall very clean. The beef brisket is the best meal I’ve ever had! Would come back 100%
Edit on 2021 Jul After a couple visits, I’d say their pork ribs is the best. Other items like beef ribs, wings etc can skip. This time I got it via Uber eats and the fries are a bit soggy but understandable. This is my first time trying this restaurant. When I first opened my take out box, I’m not pleasantly surprised by how charcoal-looking the ribs are.....they look so burnt! I was worried it’s gonna be very chewy. After I had my first taste, it’s the totally opposite!! The ribs are fall-off-the-bone with so much flavours and still juicy/ moist. The temperature of the food is great! One thing I would suggest is not to put the cold slaw in the box. As you know, clod slaws should be cold but it was pretty warm when we had it.
Came for take out so I can’t comment on their atmosphere or service, but the staff taking our large order was very friendly. The meat was very good. The poutine gravy was a bit clumpy but the beef brisket was very tender and juicy. The beef rib was very tender but a bit pricey and the Mac n cheese was good but could have used a bit more salt - no worries though as that can always be added afterwards to taste. I’ve been to a few BBQ places and this is my favourite so far. Def will be coming back!
