A peaceful place with tasty rolls. The food tastes just right, it was not too fancy but just right. Staff are kind and serve fast. Place is decorated nice and it is clean and convenient. Favorite roll was good 18 pieces mix of california roll, dragon roll and yam roll. I enjoyed the dish. The roll with mango was also tasty. Portions are good as well.
A nice place with dishes more on the light and healthier side than rich. I've been here twice. Great presentation and good service. Don't really recommend the udon since it was too light for my tastes. I highly recommend the cheese and chicken spicy rice. Great spacious atmosphere.Food: 4/5
I didn't expect the dinner for 2 to be a feast for 2.5 Kamome's dinner for 2 comes with a scrumptious sashimi salad exploding w fresh flavours and a citrus zing. Their rolls are packed, miso soup served piping hot and the ebinnaise crispy We ended up having the Yaki udong to go coz there was so much food for just 2 of us But it still tasted very good the next day. We will be back coz besides the great food, the service was awesome
Arigatou ! Super yummy sushi in a nice open eatery just adjacent from the Twaseen Mills outlet mall boasting a solid menu of tasty hot and cold Japenese dishes, sushi rolls and sashimi with brown rice options. I really enjoyed this experience, down to earth and no fuss, great tasting and good grade grub at slightly more than average value. This has to be one of the best Inari Nigiri and good quality Miso soup chow downs I've had in a while! I also really digged how their Veggie Gyoza was filled with bean curd, full of yummy protein! Friendly staff, very approachable, kind and attentitive. Support local businesses!
Just an few hours ago we decided to go and have some Japanese Food. And it was a good decision. The Stuff is super friendly they acting really fast . They do not disturb you all the time and asking you like crazy how your food is I had Hot Chicken Bowl and as an Appetizer Sashimi Salmon&Tuna it was really delicious. My husband had the Beef Teriyaki and he said the same . The price for all of this was more then fair . This Restaurant is highly recommended from us Give it a try if you like Japanese Food this will be the right one for you oh and by the way it is really clean. Keep going Kamome Team
The salmon hug was the highlight as it was creative and delicious. The tempuras were crispy as well. But the oshi sushi was such a disappointment as the salmon was too dry and tune was not fresh and too peppery. The service was not the best but certainly not the worst. Probably will come back for the tempuras but nothing else.
Visited on Tuesday around lunch time. Waited for 5 minutes and I and my husband were surprised how good it was!! I’m Japanese and honestly wasn’t expecting this good. Super crunchy and big volume. Dana was nice and polite. Definitely will come again!!
First time to try and we had a great dinner here. We ordered Ishi Yaki, NY Steak Teriyaki, Prawn Tempura, Calamari Roll and my new favourite Mary Kim. Everyone was helpful and friendly. Service was fast. Place was really clean and the washroom too. We will surely be back!
After my 5th visit, I’ve decided to leave an honest review in hopes that it will be helpful. I’ve only ever ordered take-out dinner. Each time, I feel just a little disappointed. The food tastes just fine, and the value is really not there. The tempura is never crispy and portions don’t make sense. Today, I got a $10 specialty roll, but it was as small as a California roll. For just 2 dollars more my husband got a generous bowl of Karaage don! They don’t offer dinner bentos which is a huge bummer. Lastly their wait times are inconsistent. Sometimes the food is ready before the pick up time, sometimes later. Once I was told it was a 40 min wait, but the food wasn’t ready for an additional 20 minutes. I hope I’m wrong about this place, but I’m careful about where I spend my money. I’d rather go somewhere I don’t have to wonder “will it be better this time?”
Huge Japanese restaurant Korean run...not that there's anything wrong with that at Tsawwassen Mills. Prices are quite high for the average sushi. We had some rolls and aburi sushi. The mackerel aburi tasted fishy, which was not a good indicator of freshness. I've had food court sushi ex. Togo sushi that is way better and way cheaper. This almost seems like a restaurant for tourists. Anyway, take my review with a grain of salt and judge for yourself. Personally, I won't make the extra trip out for Kamome.
