Great experience ever! ! Can't believe its freshness. I've had rolls, sashimi, and other sushi plates so many times from different places, but I can tell this is the most amazing sushi place ever! Friendly staffs, great service, and fresh ingredients impressed me in so many ways. Take out : huge order. Feast for 5 ppl. Order was promptly ready at the set time. Pick up service was easy and staff friendly. Easy parking right out front.
Sushi was awesome! super fresh, price is reasonable. Service was great and very friendly. I highly recommend the Yummy Yummy roll. This is the best sushi in town.
So, I decided to try this place upon recommendation. Biggest regret, the service took so long, and the sushi was so disappointing. We ordered 2 crab tempura rolls, which use imitation crab but tasted a lot like real crab. Apparently, they use real crab juice, which should've been told to us when we were ordering as we were pretty specific about the imitation crab. So they asked if we wanted something else instead of it, and we decided to get the avocado roll, supposedly as a courtesy. However, they charged us for both rolls. It should've been told us because we have specific dietary restrictions. On top of that, when we were paying the bill they charged double gratuity to our split bill and charged us gratuity for kids under 5. When we addressed it, they tried to reason with us until we literally calculated it for them. Instead of admitting their mistake and apologizing, they were so rude about it.. I've never had an experience like this with other restaurants. Suffice to say, I'm ticked off sushi because of the horrible food served. Save yourself the trip to this place
Picked up some sushi gurume the other night on Uber eats. Unfortunately, the restaurant never got the order, so after waiting 50 minutes, I had to wait another 15 minutes at the restaurant while they quickly prepared my meal. However, the employee working made sure I was put in priority and apologized for the mistake, so I would say the service was very good. The sushi was also really well done and reasonably priced. Definitely will order from here again! Also the restaurant is very stylish although I ordered take out, I'd come back and eat in next time!
Friendly staff but the food was not good. Too much rice on the rolls and it was overcooked, dynamite roll had no prawn ends and seemed to have used little pieces of shrimp instead of whole prawns. Salmon roll looked and tasted like it had been left out. Karaage came undercooked and the meat had an unpleasant texture even after we put it in our air fryer to finish cooking it. Plenty of other sushi options in Tsawwassen so will not be going back.
Amazing food, amazing service! Visiting from out of town and came across sushi gurume, and was pleasantly surprised! The wait staff were exceptional, and the food was delectable. Ordered the dinner for two, great variety and portion size!
Delicious! We ordered the sushi bento box, sashimi bento box, and lunch box mackerel - everything was absolutely delicious! Wonderful service she was so warm and responsive. The atmosphere was awesome - they have tables and private booths. 2 TVs with different sports on. Absolutely delicious - highly recommend!!! Thank you :
I dined here last year and to be honest it was ok. The yam tempura roll has lots of batter but it was not fresh and a bit expensive. I usually get a yam avocado roll for $4 at my usual restaurant.
As much as I want to support independent business this was the worst sushi experience. Take out disorganized with wrong order to wrong client which understandably could happen, but the rushed remake was NOT cooked tempura, tofu etc. it was batter and not edible. Roll had an ingredient not listed on the menu in the roll which is not cool when guests may have allergies etc. plus it altered the taste of the roll that was not really fresh. Excuse was understaffed. If you are understaffed and cannot produce the quality you should not open. With prices increasing guests are making informed decisions where to spend their money. Cutting corners at the guest expense is noticed. Other posts on here make mentions of undercooked items.
