Minori Japanese Restaurant

Ordered from this place through Uber Eats and we ended up ordering: Assorted Tempura Chicken Yakisoba Chicken Katsu California roll & Chicken Teri roll with Black Rice Dynamite Combo It took about an hour to get our delivery and off the bat, we had a missing item and unfortunately it was the Dynamite Combo - which was what I was looking forward to the most since it included nigiri. Aside from the missing item, the tempura was great, the batter on it was a perfect ratio to the veggies and prawns and the chicken yakisoba and katsu was up to par with most Japanese restaurants we've eaten from. The cali & chicken teri roll with black rice was a bit of a miss for us as the rice was moderately hard and didn't taste like it was fully cooked. Although this place wasn't terrible, the missing item and the high prices for what you get was a bit off putting for me. Not saying that we wouldn't try this place again, but we will definitely try other places before revisiting.

This is my first time to try sushi at this restaurant from Uber Eats. Fresh sashimi and sushi but the rice seem not cook well and spinach over cooked and hard to chew it out.

Nice food, amazing vibe, kind hosts and amazing food. Doesn’t get better than this in my opinion. This is also an amazing place for introverts because of the chill vibe and low amount of interaction. It is also really cheap.

This place is AMAZING!! I've been eating here for a long time, and it has never failed us. While the preparation is long, it always tastes fresh and we can always count on it. We've tried other sushi places in the area, this has always been the best. Kid-friendliness: Totally tasty for kids! Really easy to handle.

Great place and opportunity to support small business. Loved the black rice sushi rolls. Just wish they'd turn on the heat must be a cost saving thing but hard to enjoy fully while wearing winter parka and gear else would've given 5 Food: 5/5

I love this restaurant! Cheap price and quality sushi. I always order the yam tempura rolls and avocado rolls. Delicious! Lately the quality has gone down the slightest bit but it used to be really good.

Overall an excellent place for sushi. Very fresh and a lot of options for different combos. Not super quick but still doable for lunch or quick dinner.Food: 5/5

3.5. Never been here so went for the basics just in case. I like how in their Dynamite roll they had two prawns vs only one with a lot of batter. However the batter or fried ness of it, tasted like it hadn’t been deep fried in fresh kill. Had that darker look where it has been re deep fried twice or thrice over. The yam roll was so so, the yam itself was still crunchy and not soft or thoroughly cooked. The rice and seaweed are fresh. However, looks like a nice and clean place. Staff are very courteous. I’ll be back as prices are reasonable! Oh and lots of parking.

Great place! Food is delicious they're kind people. Though the food takes forever to make, you might wait up to an hour or so, which is the only downside to this place. Though I don't blame them, there aren't enough workers. I hope they stay open, they're my favourite takeout

Grew up on this place. Had it again recently and it did not disappoint. Some of the best sushi I’ve ever had in the price range. Rice is soo light
